Information:

At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. The radiator and all lines to heaters or the engine contain hot water or steam. Any contact can cause severe burns. Look at the sight gauge to check the coolant level. The coolant level should be in the green range. If necessary, remove the fill cap only after the engine has been stopped and the cap is cool enough to remove with your bare hand. Remove the cooling system fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system condition contains alkali that can cause personal injury. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes and do not drink. Allow cooling system components to cool before draining.
Located in front of the refrigerant condenser
Release the air pressure from the air system prior to disconnecting air hose assemblies by opening the reservoir control valve. Failure to release the air pressure will cause the air pressure to release rapidly, which could cause personal injury.
1. Release the air pressure from the air tank by pushing down on knob (1), located on top of the reservoir control valve. 2. Using two people, remove eleven bolts (2) and the hard washers that hold panel assembly (4) to enclosure assembly (3). Remove panel assembly (4) from enclosure assembly (3). The weight of panel assembly (4) is 27 Kg (59 lb). Mark and identify all hose assemblies for installation purposes. Cap and plug all hose assemblies to avoid system contamination.3. Disconnect two hose assemblies (6) and (7) from air compressor (5). 4. Disconnect two tube assemblies (8) and (10) from air compressor (5). Disconnect hose assembly (9) from air compressor (5). 5. Disconnect two hose assemblies (11) and (12) from air compressor (5). Disconnect tube assembly (13) from air compressor (5). 6. Remove three bolts (14) and the washers that hold air compressor (5) to the engine front housing. Using two people, remove air compressor (5) and the gasket. The weight of air compressor (5) is 23 Kg (50 lb) The following steps are for the installation of the air compressor.
Clean all gasket material off the mating surfaces of air compressor (5) prior to installation. The gasket between the air compressor and the engine front housing must be installed with the epoxy bead facing the front housing of the engine. Failure to do this could cause air compressor failure.
7. Using two people, put air compressor (5) and the gasket in position on the engine. Install three bolts (14) and the washers. The weight of air compressor (5) is 23 Kg (50 lb). 8. Connect tube assembly (13) to air compressor (5). Connect hose assemblies (11) and (12) to air compressor (5). 9. Connect two tube assemblies (8) and (10) to air compressor (5). Connect hose assembly (9) to air compressor (5). 10. Connect two hose assemblies (6) and (7) to air compressor (5). 11. Using two people, put panel assembly (4) in position on enclosure assembly (3). Install eleven bolts (2), and the hard washers to panel assembly (4). The weight of panel assembly (4) is 27 Kg (59 lb). 12. Make sure knob (1), of the reservoir control valve is in the "UP" position.
