Perform this adjustment after the assembly of the stop, the choke plate, and with the actuator indicator in the CLOSED (100) position. Assemble the lever at 0 degrees (vertical) as indicated. Then adjust the rod assembly length to insure choke plate is fully closed and actuator indicator is 3.0 degrees 0.5 degrees. Which is indicated in view (B-B), with the actuator in the CLOSED position.
4     3     031-0214 Locking Bolt     Assemble the choke plate to the shaft, leaving the mounting bolts loose. Assemble the thrust washer's and tighten the bolts to the standard torque. Fully close the choke plate and tighten the mounting bolts to the standard torque.

7     1     3S-2713 Full Nut     Torque the full nut to
25 6 N m (18 4 lb ft).    
8     1     7X-7875 Rod End     Assemble the rod ends to provide equal thread engagement and lubricate the fittings.    
9     1     6I-0728 Butterfly Plate     Assemble the choke plate to the shaft, leaving the mounting bolts loose. Assemble the thrust washer's and tighten the bolts to the standard torque. Fully close the choke plate and tighten the mounting bolts to the standard torque.    
With the choke plate assembled on the shaft, fully close the plate. Tighten the adjusting bolt until the bolt contacts with the stop plate. Tighten the adjusting bolt an additional quarter turn and tighten the locking nut to the standard torque.
