0315052 EVINRUDE GASKET, Carburetor to manifold

1. Remove bolt and locknut (1).2. Remove clamp (2). 3. Disconnect three hoses (3). Cap and plug all openings immediately.4. Disconnect electrical connection (4).5. Remove bolt, nut, two washers and spacer (7).6. Disconnect rod (8).7. Remove four nuts and washers (6). Upon installation tighten four nuts (6) to a torque of 17 5 N m (13 4 lb ft).8. Remove carburetor (5) and the gasket. Check the gasket for wear or damage and replace if necessary.9. Install a protective cover over the carburetor air inlet opening to prevent the introduction of contaminants. For installation of the carburetor, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Carburetor
Start By:a. remove carburetor 1. Remove four nuts and washers (2).2. Remove valve assembly (3) and the gasket.3. Remove protective cover (1) if equipped. 4. Remove four nuts and washers (5).5. Remove carburetor assembly (4) and the gasket from throttle assembly (6). 6. Remove two screws (7).7. Remove throttle plate (8) from throttle assembly (6). 8. Remove three screws (9).9. Remove cover (10). If necessary remove the spring from inside cover (10). 10. Remove cover (11). Check the O-ring seal on cover (11) for wear or damage, replace if necessary. 11. Use Tool (A) to remove retaining ring (12). 12. Remove two washers (13). 13. Remove bolt and washers (14). Mark lever (15) in reference to its position for assembly purposes.14. Remove lever (15). 15. Remove screw (17) and spring (16). 16. Remove three screws (18). 17. Remove shaft (19) from throttle assembly (6). If necessary remove stop (20) from shaft (19). 18. Remove washer (21) and washers (22). 19. Use Tool (A) to remove retaining ring (23). 20. Remove cover (24). Check O-ring (25) on cover (24) for wear or damage, replace if necessary. The following steps are for the assembly of the carburetor. 21. Install stop (20) on shaft (19) if it was removed.22. Install cover (24). Install O-ring seal (25). 23. Use Tool (A) to install retaining ring (23). 24. Install washers (22) and washer (21). 25. Install shaft (19) into throttle assembly (6). 26. Install three screws (18). 27. Install washers (13). 28. Use Tool (A) to install retaining ring (12). 29. Install the O-ring seal on cover (11) if it was removed.30. Install cover (11) on shaft (19). 31. Install the spring inside cover (10) if it was removed.32. Align the spring in cover (10) with the slot in the end of shaft (19).33. Turn stop (20) clockwise until it rests against cover (24). 34. Tighten cover (10) one half turn until screw holes align.35. Install three screws (9). 36. Install spring (16) and screw (17). 37. Install lever (15) in its original position.38. Install bolt and washers (14). 39. Install throttle plate (8).40. Install two screws (7). 41. Install the gasket and put throttle assembly (6) in position on carburetor assembly (4).42. Install four nuts and washers (5). 43. Install the gasket and put valve assembly (3) in position on the carburetor.44. Install four nuts and washers (2).45. Cover the carburetor air inlet opening with protective cover if needed.End By:a. install carburetor
