Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the details for installing the 323-8458 High Speed Oil Change Kit on the listed machines. This kit provides a faster way, a safer way, and a more environmentally friendly way for changing the engine oil and the hydraulic oil. The kit provides single connections for extracting and filling of the oil. Oil can be extracted with a service truck or with a portable pump if a service truck is not available.Note: The conventional method of draining and filling the oil can still be utilized, as needed. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" and to Operation and Maintenance, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for your machine.

These two hose assemblies are not included in the kit. These two hose assemblies must be provided by the customer. In addition, special nozzle assemblies must be installed on the extraction lines of the customer's service equipment in order to connect to the hydraulic fittings that are used in the kit. These two nozzle assemblies are not included in the kit.
