If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Inspect and remove all 1145509, 1145510 and 1145511 Regulators with the following identification numbers: The identification number can be located on the part number film of the regulator.

1. Shut down the genset and take the unit out of service by either turning the battery disconnect switch to the "OFF" position or disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery.2. Remove the appropriate side cover from the generator to gain access to the regulator mounting location.3. Verify that the wiring to the regulator is appropriately labeled before disconnecting the wiring from the regulator, then disconnect the wiring.4. Remove the regulator by loosening the three mounting bolts and nuts.5. Install the new regulator and tighten the mounting bolts.6. Connect the wiring to the regulator.7. Install the side cover back onto the generator and tighten the mounting bolts.8. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "ON" position or connect the negative terminal of the battery.9. Start the genset and make voltage adjustments as necessary. Return the unit to service.Service Claim Allowances

When submitting a claim for generator sets in parts stock/dealer inventory, use 99Z00007 in the serial number field of the claim and the generator serial number in the related field.
