PU Bushing 3-01-1488 Front Susp. Swaybar Colt,Colt Plus, ID 27 mm
Manufactured from the best durable polyurethane-based elastomer which increase the service life of the parts, serving your car two-tree times longer than rubber analogues. Siberian Bushing spareparts were tested in the most severe road and weather conditions in the world - in Siberia.||Siberian Bushing uses only high quality polyurethane compounds. Unlike the cheaper and obsolete rubber replacement parts, our parts withstand widest range of operating temperatures, stay flexible and durable even under hard loads and in extreme driving conditions.||All mount sizes (inner sleeve I.D. etc.) match the original ones. If not specified, the default polyurethane hardness is 65 (Shore A) that is equivalent to original rubber material. This provides safe and comfort driving, meantime increasing the responsiveness of your car.||COLT, COLT PLUS,||Ozone, oil and solvents resistant. Wear-out, tear-off and cuts resistant.

Information:
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program. Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.
This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8632" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
1996 TEPS mail code TT-6 is not in order since it was added at Revision SEBE5702-01 in May 1996.
This Revised Service Letter replaces the April 15, 1996 (Revised October 1996) Service Letter. Changes have been made to the TERMINATION DATE, Affected Product, Service Claim Allowances, and Rework Procedure.

This program provides 3176B Engine upgrades in the areas of Jake Brake settings and head bolts. Jake Brake settings have changed from .51mm (.020 inch) to .64mm (.025 inch). This program provides for updating engines that were factory or field adjusted to the .51 (.020 inch) specification. This program also provides an upgrade of the head bolts at the locations that can be replaced without removal of the valve cover base (Group 2 Engines).
This program does not apply to bus and coach applications.

Group 1
The Jake Brake Adjustments may be completed more than once under this program.
1. Determine if the engine qualifies for this program. The engine must be equipped with Jake Brakes and be outside the ranges of normal valve adjustment maintenance.2. Remove the valve covers and truck chassis air piping, air cleaners and other peripheral items for access to the engine brake.3. Adjust Jake Brakes to .64mm (.025 inch) using procedures listed in Service Manual, SENR5585.4. Install the valve covers and truck chassis air piping, air cleaners and other peripheral items.Group 2
Inspect the head bolts to verify that the bolts have not already been replaced. If the bolts have been replaced, do not repeat this procedure.
1. Remove a single head bolt at the right hand rear of the engine from position 14, as indicated on the cylinder head Illustration. Use a 24mm thin wall socket (CAT Part Number 1U7883) to access the head bolt.2. Install the new 1261499 Bolt using 6V4876 Lubricant (Molykote) on the threads and both sides of the washer. Tighten the bolt to 260 15 N m (190 11 lb ft). Do not use the Service Manual torque specifications because all head bolts have not been removed. A closer match is preferred with the remaining head bolts that have "relaxed" since the original installation.3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 of Group 2 for the bolt at the right hand front of the engine (position 12 on the Illustration).
