Introduction
This Special Instruction provides the procedure for installation of the engine cooling fan bypass attachments. The engine cooling fan bypass attachment reduces the engine cooling fan speed during extended idle conditions in cold weather ambient temperatures.Note: Each section contains the related parts list.After assembly is complete, prepare the machine for service.Read the information and understand the information in this publication before you perform any procedures.Safety

Personal injury can result from flame cutting or welding on painted areas.The effect of gasses from burned paint is a hazard to the person doing the cutting or welding.Do not flame cut or weld on painted areas.
Do not let any dirt or foreign material get into the hydraulic system during assembly or maintenance operation. Keep the oil in the hydraulic system at the correct level to prevent pump cavitation.

Make sure that the tractor is de-energized and the battery disconnect switch is in the OFF position.
Use proper tooling to draw a vacuum in the hydraulic tank.

Open the left-hand engine enclosure door and remove the vertical panel that is directly behind the door.

Remove the front and middle bottom guards from the tractor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR5612, "Bottom Guard - Remove and Install".
