Information:
Parameter Descriptions
Rating Number
The rating number corresponds to the set of performance maps that has been selected for this application. The map is resident in the flash file for the engine.Rated Power
This parameter specifies the rated power of the engine.Rated Peak Torque
This parameter specifies the rated peak torque of the engine.Top Engine Speed Range
This parameter specifies the optimum top speed range of the engine.Test Spec
This is the engine's "Test Specifiction Number". Use this number to retrieve data that is related to the engine's specifications from the Technical Marketing Information System (TMI). The following information can be retrieved from TMI:
"As shipped consists"
"Engine test specifications"
"Systems data"
"Physical data"
"Gasket kit data"
"Reman parts"
"Performance data"A link to TMI Web can be found on the web site for the Service Information System (SIS).Equipment ID
This parameter allows the customer to enter a description into the ECM in order to identify the engine's application. A maximum of 17 characters can be entered in the field.Engine Serial Number
The engine serial number must be programmed to match the engine serial number that is stamped on the engine information plate. The engine serial number is not preprogrammed into a replacement ECM.ECM Serial Number
The serial number of the ECM that is stored in the ECM memorySoftware Group Part Number
The part number of the flash file that is currently installed in the ECMSoftware Group Release Date
The release date of the flash file that is currently installed in the ECMSoftware Group Description
The description of the application for the flash file that is currently installed in the ECMEngine Location
Note: The "Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration", "Engine Location", and "Secondary Throttle Enable Status" must be programmed in the following order:
Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration
Engine Location
Secondary Throttle Enable StatusThis parameter can be set to one of the following values:
Port
Starboard
Center
Engine #Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration
Note: The "Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration", "Engine Location", and "Secondary Throttle Enable Status" must be programmed in the following order:
Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration
Engine Location
Secondary Throttle Enable StatusProgram this parameter to the number of synchronized engines that are used in the application. The allowable range is from 1 to 5. The default value is 1.If this parameter is programmed for more than one engine, the "Secondary Throttle Enable Status" parameter is automatically set to "Enabled".FLS
This parameter represents the fuel system adjustment that was made at the factory in order to fine tune the fuel system to the engine. The correct value for this parameter is stamped on the engine information plate. Only change this value if the engine is rerated or if a new ECM has been installed. Factory passwords are required to change this parameter.FTS
This parameter is another parameter that represents a fuel system adjustment that was performed at the factory in order to fine tune the fuel system to this engine. Only change this value if the engine is rerated or if a new ECM has been installed. Factory passwords are required to change this parameter.Low Idle Speed
This parameter is the engine's minimum allowable operating speed.Maximum Trolling Engine Speed
This parameter is used to adjust the rpm range of the engine. If the trolling mode switch is placed in the ON position, the ECM applies a scaling factor to the throttle signal. This establishes a new operating range for the engine speed. The maximum engine speed is set to the value of this parameter when the engine is in trolling mode. The "Low Idle Speed" remains as the low idle speed of the engine. The value of this parameter must be higher than the value of the "Low Idle Speed" parameter.

Secondary Throttle Enable Status
Note: The "Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration", "Engine Location", and "Secondary Throttle Enable Status" must be programmed in the following order:
Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration
Engine Location
Secondary Throttle Enable StatusThis parameter can be programmed to "Enabled" or "Disabled". The default value is "Disabled". If the "Number of Synchronized Engines Configuration" parameter is programmed to more than one engine, this parameter is automatically set to "Enabled".Refer to Troubleshooting, "Synchronization - Test" for more information on the secondary throttle.Tachometer Frequency Configuration
This parameter applies a calibration adjustment for the tachometer. The allowable range is from 12 to 500 pulses per revolution. The default value is 113.System Operating Voltage Configuration
This parameter is not available for this application.Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor
Set this parameter to "Installed" in order to configure the ECM for the installation of a transmission oil temperature sensor.Transmission Oil Pressure Sensor
Set this parameter to "Installed" in order to configure the ECM for the installation of a transmission oil pressure sensor.Fuel Level Sensor Installation Status
Set this parameter to "Installed" in order to configure the ECM for the installation of a fuel level sensor.Coolant Level Sensor
Set this parameter to "Installed" in order to configure the ECM for the installation of a coolant level sensor.Exhaust Temperatu
