Information:

At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure in the cooling system. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is 14.6 liters (3.8 U.S. gal).
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic circuits (boom, stick and bucket) before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
2. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Lower the blade to the ground if so equipped.b. Fully retract the rod in the stick cylinder.c. Adjust the position of the bucket so it will be flat on the ground when the boom is lowered.d. Lower the boom until the bucket is flat on the ground.e. Shut off the engine, and put the hydraulic activation control lever in the "Lock" position.f. Move the control levers for the boom, bucket, stick and swing through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.g. Slowly loosen the Fill/Vent plug on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.h. Tighten the Fill/vent plug on the hydraulic oil tank.i. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed.3. Remove the plug from the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank. Install the ecology drain valve to drain the oil from the hydraulic oil tank. Drain the oil into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 57 liters (14.8 U.S. gal). 4. Loosen the clamp, and disconnect upper radiator hose (1) from the radiator. 5. Remove tie wraps (2). 6. Remove tie wrap (4). Disconnect overflow hose (3) from the coolant overflow reservoir.7. Remove the sheet assembly located under the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler. This will permit access to the lower engine compartment. 8. Remove bolt (5) and the washer that holds brace (6) to the top left side of the radiator. 9. Remove bolt (7) and the washer that holds brace (8) to the top right side of the radiator. 10. Loosen two clamps (9), and disconnect hose (10) at the lower front side of the hydraulic oil cooler.
View From Under Machine11. Loosen the clamp, and disconnect lower radiator hose (11) at the radiator. 12. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (12) as shown.
View From Under Machine13. Remove two bolts (13) from the bottom side of the radiator.
View From Under Radiator14. Remove bolts (14) that hold the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler to the frame of the machine.
Do not damage the radiator or hydraulic oil cooler when it is removed from the machine.
15. Carefully remove the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (12) from the machine. The combined weight of the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler core is 41 kg (90 lb). 16. Support the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler so it can not fall. Fasten a hoist to hydraulic oil cooler (17). Remove bolts (16) that hold the hydraulic oil cooler to radiator (15). Remove the hydraulic oil cooler. The weight of the hydraulic oil cooler is 20 kg (44 lb). The weight of the radiator is 21 kg (46 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic oil cooler and radiator.17. Check the condition of the hydraulic oil cooler and radiator prior to installation. Remove any dirt or debris that may restrict the flow of air through the cores. If any of the cooling fins are bent, they should be straightened. 18. Support radiator (15) so it can not fall. Fasten a hoist to hydraulic oil cooler (17). Put the hydraulic oil cooler in position on the radiator, and install bolts (16) that hold it.
Do not damage the radiator or hydraulic oil cooler when it is installed in the machine.
19. Fasten a hoist to the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (12). Carefully put the unit in position in the machine.

Connect brace (6) to the top left side of the radiator with bolt (5) and the washer. 26. Connect hose assembly (3) to the coolant overflow reservoir. Install a new tie wrap (4). 27. Install a new tie wrap (2) as shown. 28. Connect upper radiator hose (1) to the radiator. Tighten the hose clamp for the upper radiator hose.29. Fill the cooling system with coolant and the hydraulic oil tank with oil. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedures.30. Install the sheet assembly located under the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler.End By:a. install fan assemblyb. install hood
