The new configuring parameter to configure Clean Emission Module (CEM) to Cat ET for Industrial Engines are explained below.
Add a configurable parameter that allows future engines to be factory fit with only a new CEM with an Ultra Low Mean Pour Size (ULMPS) Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). While supporting the current field production of CEM with a standard DPF in the field.
New CEM packages with the ULMPS DPF which are required for EU Stage V compliance, will have a different serial number prefix than current T4F/EU IV CEM packages.
The CEM serial number detection system continuously checks the ET programmed CEM serial number prefix versus an allowable CEM serial number prefix map in the software. If there is a mismatch, a fault code is activated and a derate is applied.EU Stage V Requirements
The EU Stage V requires more fault codes to be included to Particulate Control Device (PCD) fault code list.Note: All PCD codes will be persistent active and password protected.
The PCD code list will be updated with codes listed in Table 2.
