Information:

Personal injury or death can result from falling loader bucket lift arms. Install the loader bucket lift arms support before working under a raised bucket.
1. Raise the loader bucket lift arms and install the loader bucket lift arms support. Rotate the loader bucket to the open position.2. Remove the hood, the grill, and the engine side guards.
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Drain the coolant only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap from the radiator slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
3. Release the pressure in the cooling system. Drain the coolant from the radiator. The capacity of the cooling system is 30 L (8 Gal).
To prevent personal injury, move the control levers backward and forward to release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Slowly loosen the cap of the hydraulic tank to release any pressure in the tank. Be cautious of hot hydraulic oil when any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.
4. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank. The hydraulic tank capacity is 57 L (15 gal). The hydraulic tank has been removed for photographic purposes only. The hydraulic tank need not be removed to remove the radiator. Cap and plug all opening as each hose is disconnected.5. Disconnect oil lines (1) and (2) located at the bottom of the radiator. 6. Remove two nuts (12) from upper brace assemblies (11).7. Disconnect oil line (13).8. Remove two bolts (5) and eight bolts (6) and remove fan guard assembly (7).9. Remove eight bolts (9) and slide shroud (8) back over the fan.10. Disconnect radiator overflow hose (3), upper radiator hose (4) and lower radiator hose (10) from the radiator. 11. Disconnect oil line (16) from the oil cooler.12. Disconnect wires (17) and line (15) from the either aid. Remove clamp (20) and the tie straps securing them to the upper brace assembly.
Always wear goggles when working on air conditioning systems. The system is under pressure at all times, engine running or not. Escaping Freon-12 (CCI2F2 Dichlorodifluoromethane) can cause freezing of human flesh.Do not smoke while working on air conditioning systems. INHALING FREON-12 THROUGH ANY SMOKING MATERIAL, ALTHOUGH NOT TOXIC OR FLAMMABLE, CAN GENERATE LETHAL PHOSGENE GAS AND CAUSE VIOLENT ILLNESS OR DEATH. ALSO, HEAT MUST NEVER BE APPLIED TO A CHARGED SYSTEM. See Air Conditioning And Heating Service Manual, Form No. SENR3334, for more information on removal and installation of lines and refrigerant from the system.
13. Purge the air conditioning system. See the topic, Purging The System located in the Air Conditioning And Heating Service Manual, From No. SENR3334 for the correct procedure.14. Disconnect line (14) from the dryer assembly. Disconnect line (19) from the condenser.15. Remove two bolts (18) securing the radiator to the upper brace assemblies. Remove two bolts (21) and remove the two brace assemblies.
Do not damage the radiator core, oil cooler core or the condenser core when the radiator is removed from the machine.
16. Fasten tooling (A) and hoist to the radiator. Remove two bolts (22) and remove the radiator, the oil cooler, and the condenser as a unit. Weight of the unit is 75 kg (165 lb).17. Remove the radiator from the oil cooler. See the topic, Remove And Install Oil Cooler. The following steps are for the installation of the radiator.18. Check the condition of the radiator prior to installation. Remove any dirt or debris that may restrict the flow of air through the core. If any of the cooling fins are bent, they should be straightened prior to installation.19. Install the oil cooler on the radiator. See the topic, Remove And Install Oil Cooler.20. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to the radiator assembly. Put the radiator assembly in position and install two mounting bolts (22).21. Put the two upper brace assemblies in position and install two bolts (21). Install two bolts (18) to secure the radiator to the brace assemblies.22. Connect line (19) to the condenser and connect line (14) to the dryer assembly.23. Connect wires (17) and line (15) to the either aid. Secure wire (17) and line (15) to the upper brace assembly with clamp (20) and the wire straps.24. Connect oil line (16) to the oil cooler.25. Connect radiator overflow hose (3), upper radiator hose (4), and lower radiator hose (10) to the radiator.26. Put radiator shroud (8) in position and install eight bolts (9).27. Put fan guard assembly (7) in position and install eight bolts (6) and two bolts (5).28. Connect oil line (13).29. Install two nuts (12) to secure upper brace assemblies (11).30. Connect oil lines (1) and (2).31. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.32. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation And Maintenance Manual.33. Evacuate and charge the air conditioning system. Refer to the Air Conditioning And Heating Service Manual, Form No. SENR3334, for the correct procedure.
