Information:

Programming Mode-Entering
To enter the programming mode, press and hold the three buttons on a module simultaneously. When the three buttons are making contact, the module will display "prog" as shown below. It is not necessary to press the buttons hard. When the module detects that the three buttons are making contact, the display will show "prog".The buttons must be held and the module must display "prog" continuously for 3 seconds. If the display of "prog" is flickering, the buttons are not being pressed continuously. After 3 seconds, the module's display will change from "prog" to "C0" for 1/2 second as shown below. The three buttons may be released once the module displays "CO". After the module displays "C0" for 1/2 second, the display will switch to "0000". The zero on the left will be flashing. The display "0000" represents code 0000 from Table 1. The modules enter the programming mode displaying code 0000. Any code from Table 1 may now be entered.Programming Code-Change
Modules enter the programming mode displaying code "0000". The left zero will be flashing. The left and right buttons allow a new code to be entered. Each time the right button is pressed and released, the value of the flashing digit will increment. The flashing digit will wrap around from 9 to 0. If the right button is held for more than 1 second, all four digits will reset to 0.Digit selection is made by pressing the left button. Each time the left button is pressed and released, the next digit to the right will become the flashing digit. The center button is used to enter a new code. The button is held until the display changes from "C0". Example:The electronic gauge modules can display readings in metric (kPa/°C) or English (psi/°F). To convert from metric to English, enter the programming mode and change the programming code to 7000. When the center button is held to enter the new code, the display will show "C0" for 1/2 second and then it will return to the normal display mode. To convert from English to metric, enter the programming mode and enter code 6000.Viewing Constant and Flag Values
Chart 5 in the Reference Charts section of this manual lists all of the constant and flag values stored in each module. There is a separate chart for each module. The constants are listed first followed by the flags. The following three types of constants are stored in each module:* Alarm Setpoints* Shutdown Setpoints* Calibration SetpointsTo view the constant and flag values in a module, enter the programming mode (see topic Programming Mode-Entering in this section). The module will enter the programming mode displaying "0000" which represents code 0000 from Table 1. Code 0000 allows the constant and flag values to be viewed so the code will not need changed.Press the middle button momentarily and release it. The module will display "C0" for 1 second and then it will display "0000" again. When the module is at C0 a programming code from Table 1 may be entered. Notice that the constants in Chart 5 begin at C1.To begin viewing the constants and flags listed in Chart 5, press the middle button until the display changes from "C0" to "C1" and then release the button. The display will show "C1" for 1 second and then it will show the value of "C1".Notice that none of the digits are flashing. The displayed value may be viewed but it cannot be changed. The value of C1 on the display may not be the same as the nominal value shown in column 4 of chart 5 because the constant and flag values are set at the factory for the customers' specific application. The center button now serves two functions:1. Pressing the center button momentarily will recall on the display the constant number "C#" whose value is being viewed.2. Pressing and holding the center button will advance to the next constant. Release the button to see the value of the new constant. When the center button is pressed to advance past the last flag "8F#" the display will return to the normal display mode.Differential Offset-Code 3000
The differential offset increases or decreases the differential fuel filter or oil filter function display by the offset value entered. The range of adjustment is limited form -9 to +9.Check filter differential pressure when the engine is operating at low idle and new, clean filters have been installed. At these conditions, the fuel filter differential on module 1 and the oil filter differential on module 3 should read 0. If the reading is not 0, the differential offset may be used to set the reading to 0. Example:After the fuel filters have been changed, the differential fuel filter reading is 2 psi at low idle. To set the differential fuel pressure reading to 0, enter the programming mode in module 1. Change the programming code to 3000 and enter the new code by pressing the center button until the display changes from "C0". When the display changes from "C0" it will appear as shown below. The letters "do" stand for differential offset. To cancel out the reading of 2 psi, the differential offset value needs to be -2. Each time the right button is pressed the offset value will decrement until it gets to -9. The value will return to 9 after -9.The right button would be pressed until the offset value is -2. When the middle button is pressed the new value will be entered and the module will return to the normal display mode. The fuel filter differential will then read 0.Hour Meter Incrementation-Code 8000
This code allows the hour meter to be set to a predetermined value which must be greater than the present reading. Attempts to store a lower number will be ignored.Enter the programming mode in module 1 and change the programming code to 8000. Setting the new engine hours requires programming 6 individual numbers referred to as H6 to H1. Example:The engine hours may be increased, but not decreased
