2. Remove precleaner (1).3. Raise both the right and the left access doors. 4. Remove bolt (2).5. Remove bolt (6).6. Remove muffler (4).7. Attach a suitable lifting device to hood and both right and left access doors (5).8. Remove six bolts (3).9. Remove hood and both right and left access doors (5) as a unit. The weight of the unit is approximately 149 kg (330 lb). 10. Remove left access panel (7). 11. Remove right access panel (8). 12. Remove two bolts (9) above hydraulic tank. 13. Remove two bolts (10) from the operator platform.

Move rubber boot to access and disconnect cable (13).20. Move rubber boot to access and disconnect cable (17).21. Remove two bolts (14). Remove battery bracket (16).22. Use two people to remove battery (15).23. Repeat Steps (19) through (22) on the other battery. 24. Remove three of four bolts (18) from each side of grille frame (19). Pull grille frame forward to allow clearance during engine and pumps removal. 25. Cut five tyraps (20). Pull wiring harness back to the engine. 26. Remove bolt and P-clamp (22) from the support.27. Remove four bolts (24) (not shown).28. Remove support (21).29. Remove two tywraps (23) (not shown) from positive battery cable. Pull wiring harness back to the engine.30. Disconnect ground strap (25). 31. Remove bolt (26) and washer. Remove nut, washer, large washer and rubber mount from bottom of left rear frame support.32. Left rear engine support (27) is ready for later removal of the engine and pumps. 33. Remove bolt (29) and washer. Remove nut, washer, large washer and rubber mount from bottom of right front frame support.34. Right front engine support (28) (not shown) is ready for later removal of the engine and pumps.35. Cut two tyraps (30). 36. Remove bolt (32) and washer. Remove nut, washer, large washer and rubber mount from bottom of left front frame support.37. Left front support (31) (not shown) is ready for later removal of the engine and pumps. 38. Cut tywraps (34).39. Disconnect wiring terminal (33).40. Remove bolt and P-clamp (36).41. Pull wiring harness (35) back to the engine and pumps. 42. Disconnect three electrical connections (37) (one has already been disconnected).43. Remove bolt and P-clamp (38). Pull wiring harness (39) back to the engine and pumps. 44. Remove four bolts (40) and washers.45. Disconnect hose assembly (41). Cap or plug immediately. 46. Disconnect three electrical connections (42).47. Remove nut (43) and washer. Remove ground wire. Pull wiring harness back to the engine and pumps. 48. Remove bolt (44) and washer. Remove nut, washer, large washer and rubber mount from bottom of right rear frame support.49. Right rear engine support (45) is ready for later removal of the engine and pumps. When installing right rear mounting bolt, put bolt in position before installation. The bolt just clears the routing of the oil cooler hoses. 50. Disconnect hose assembly (46). Cap or plug immediately.51. Disconnect hose assembly (47). Cap or plug immediately. 52. Remove two bolts and two P-clamps (49).53. Disconnect fuel hose assembly (48). Cap or plug immediately. 54. Only two of four hose assemblies (50) are required to be disconnected for the removal of the engine and pumps.55. Attach a suitable lifting device. Use load leveler (A) if possible. Due to the pumps weight, the flywheel end of the engine will be heavier that the vibration damper end of the engine. 56. Disconnect five of the six hose assemblies (51). Cap or plug immediately.57. Disconnect sure seal (52). 58. Remove clamps (53). 59. Cut tyraps (55) on the suction hose of the hydraulic tank.60. Disconnect all hose assemblies (54) that will require disconnection for the engine and pumps removal as a unit. Cap or plug immediately. 61. Loosen two nuts (58).62. Pull back on keeper (56). Disconnect cable (57). 63. Remove hose (60) from propel motor (59) to avoid damage during removal.
Before proceeding, check wiring harness connections, hydraulic hose assemblies connections, P-clamp or tywrap connections to be sure all disconnections have been made.
64. Raise the engine and pump with load leveler (A) very slowly to be sure that all disconnections have been made. 65. Position engine and pumps to suitable supports in a work area. For installation of the engine, reverse the removal steps. For separation of the engine from the pumps see topic, "Pump Separation From Engine" in this module.66. Fill the hydraulic tank to the correct level.67. Fill the radiator to the correct level.

Pull wiring harness (35) back to the engine and pumps. 42. Disconnect three electrical connections (37) (one has already been disconnected).43. Remove bolt and P-clamp (38). Pull wiring harness (39) back to the engine and pumps. 44. Remove four bolts (40) and washers.45. Disconnect hose assembly (41). Cap or plug immediately. 46. Disconnect three electrical connections (42).47. Remove nut (43) and washer. Remove ground wire. Pull wiring harness back to the engine and pumps. 48. Remove bolt (44) and washer. Remove nut, washer, large washer and rubber mount from bottom of right rear frame support.49. Right rear engine support (45) is ready for later removal of the engine and pumps.
