Remove the pistons and the connecting rods from the cylinders. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR9704, "Pistons and Connecting Rods - Remove",
Remove retaining ring (1) from the groove in the piston body (2). Refer to Illustration 2.
Remove piston pin (3) and piston (2) from connecting rod (4) .
Place the piston (2) on the new connecting rod (4) . Apply clean engine oil to piston pin (3) and install the piston pin.
Install retaining ring (1) .
Install the piston and the connecting rods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR9704, "Pistons and Connecting Rods - Install"Procedure to Replace the Cylinder Pack
