Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) Inducement Emergency Override
If there is emergency situations, the EPA allows the override of SCR Inducements. This feature can be enabled through Cat ET service Tool. once enabled (factory password required), this feature provides 120 hours of inducement free operation. The override timer can be activated with either a physical switch (J1–22 on A5E2) or Cat ET service tool.Caterpillar Regeneration System (CRS) Lean Burn Strategy
Lean burn strategy has been added to startup mode (SM) and maintenance timer (MTB) regens. This reduces the potential of regen issues related to a sooted up flame temp sensor.Enhancements to Existing Features
