Push the stop button in order to stop a standby pump that is running. When the lamp that indicates normal conditions is on, the pump will remain off. However, if the lamp that indicates normal conditions is off the standby pump will restart when you release the stop button.The lamp that indicates a normal condition will be illuminated, whenever the pressure in the monitored system is normal.Whenever the standby pump is running, the lamp that indicates that the standby pump is running will illuminate. The standby pump can be operated by the set of contacts for auto start in the standby pump panel, or the push button for manual start. The push button that is used for manual starting is found on the control panel for the standby pump.

Troubleshoot lamps, wiring, and circuit operation.    Note: An extra set of normally open contacts from each of the motor starters of the standby pumps should be wired in parallel. In order to indicate that the standby pump is running, connect an indicator to these contactors. A spare input (alarm) can be used in the engine control panel. Refer to the Systems Operation, RENR2493, "3606,3608,3612 and 3616 Engines Engine Control Panel" for more information. In the marine monitoring system II, you can use a spare digital input in order to connect the contacts that are normally open. Refer to the Systems Operation, RENR2490, "Marine Monitoring System II for 3600 Engines" for more information. Power Wiring for the Starter of the Standby Pump
The power wiring for the starter of the standby pump is not shown. The motor starter needs to be compatible with the supply voltage that is used for the motor. The motor starter should also be compatible with the size of the motor that is used.Note: The wiring should be done in accordance with any local codes.
