Lubricate the O-ring seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the nuts and taper plugs.
Install the orifice into the pump housing. The large diameter of the orifice is inserted toward the pump housing. (5) Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the socket setscrews. Maintain a load of 490 45 N (110.2 10.1 lb) to the retaining ring.
Tighten the socket setscrews to 0.9 0.1 N m (8 1 lb in).

Apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the pump shaft at a distance of 15 mm (0.6 inch) from the shoulder of the bearing.
Slide the seal collar to 180 degrees onto the pump shaft. Rotate the seal collar in order to distribute the bearing mount compound. Allow the bearing mount compound to cure for 30 minutes.
