Typical Example4. Loosen clamps (1) and slide hose (3) away from the radiator. Remove inlet tube (2) from the top of the radiator.5. Loosen clamps (5) and slide the hose on to the water pump for outlet tube (4). Remove outlet tube (4) from the hose on the radiator.
Typical Example6. Remove the bolts that hold guide plates (6) and (7) to the radiator guard. Use two persons and remove grille plates (6) and (7). The weight is approximately 60 lb. (27 kg).
Typical Example7. Disconnect wires (8) from the horns and clamp (9). Move the wires to the rear of the radiator.

Typical Example1. Install tooling (A) on each side of the radiator or install a 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolt (2) in the tank assembly of the radiator and fasten a hoist.

2. Put radiator (1) in position in the radiator guard.

START BY:a) remove radiator This disassembly operation is a typical example taken from a similar tractor. The steps and illustrations shown are not in direct relation to the D6D Tractor but are similar. The number of cores used for each radiator of the different models of the D6D Tractor are as follows: the direct drive uses 4 cores, the powershift uses 8 cores and the special application uses 6 cores.
Typical Example1. Remove baffles (1) and (2).
Typical Example2. Remove supports (4) and (5).3. Remove eight bolts (6) that hold the channels to the top tank. Remove top tank (3) and the seals.
Typical Example4. Remove bolt (8) from each side that holds the bracket for the outside cores in place.5. Remove straps (9) that hold cores (7) together.6. Remove cores (7) from the bottom tank. 7. Remove seals (10) from bottom tank (11).
Typical Example8. Remove eight bolts (14) and remove channels (12) and (13) from bottom tank (11).
Typical Example9. Inspect seal strips (15) in the channels. If necessary remove the bracket that holds the seal strip in place and remove seal strip (15) from each channel.Assemble Radiator

Typical Example1. Put bottom tank (1) in position on wooden blocks as shown.
Typical Example2. If replacement was necessary, put a seal strip (2) that is 42.13 in. (107 cm) long in position in each channel with the side that has adhesive on it down. Install the bracket that holds the seal strips in place in the channels. The seal strips go toward the back of the radiator.
Typical Example3. Install channels (3) and (4) on the bottom tank. Make sure the seal strips in the channel are toward the back of the radiator.
Typical Example4. Make sure the holes in the bottom tank are clean. Put liquid soap on the sealing areas and install seals (5) on the bottom tank. Put the liquid soap on the seals just before assembly.
Typical Example5. Put liquid soap inside the holes of seals (5). Install bracket (6) to each of the end cores. Do not tighten the bolts. Install core (7) and install the bolt that holds bracket (6) to the channel.6. Install the next core (7) with the bevels together as shown.
