Start By:a. remove hoodb. *remove hydraulic oil cooler*This procedure is found in SENR5371 Machine Systems Module.
View From Under Radiator1. Remove the access panel from under the radiator. Open drain valve (1) and drain the coolant into a suitable container. The capacity of the radiator is approximately 49 liter (13 U.S. gal). 2. Remove two bolts (2), spacer (3) and two gaskets (4) from the bottom of the radiator. 3. Remove two bolts (5) that hold back-up alarm (6) in place.4. Disconnect wires (7) and (8) from back-up alarm (6). Disconnect wiring harness (9). 5. Remove four bolts (10) and brackets (11) from each side of the radiator.6. Drain the transmission oil into a suitable container. The capacity of the transmission is approximately 60 liter (15.8 U.S. gal). 7. Disconnect lower transmission oil cooler line (12) from nipple (13) located on the transmission oil cooler. 8. Loosen hose clamps (15) and slide hose (17) off the radiator. Disconnect upper transmission oil cooler line (16) from nipple (14) located on the transmission oil cooler.9. Remove upper and lower fan guards (18). 10. Remove five bolts (21), three plates (19) and two strips (20). 11. Open access door (22) and battery box lid (23). Remove bolt and washer (24).12. Repeat step 10 for the other side of the machine. 13. Remove two bolts (25). 14. Fasten Tooling (A) to the radiator as shown. Remove two bolts (26) and remove the radiator and guard assembly from the machine. The weight of the radiator and guard assembly is 551 kg (1225 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the radiator and guard assembly. 15. Fasten Tooling (A) to the radiator and guard assembly. Carefully put the radiator and guard assembly in position on the machine.16. Install bolts (26) in both sides of the radiator guard. 17. Install bolts (25). 18. Install bolt (24) on both sides of the machine. 19. Close battery box lid (23) and access door (22). 20. Position three plates (19), two strips (20) and install five bolts (21) that hold them. 21. Install upper and lower fan guards (18).22. Connect upper transmission oil cooler line (16) to nipple (14) located on the transmission oil cooler. Put hose (17) on the radiator and tighten hose clamps (15). 23. Connect lower transmission oil cooler line (12) to nipple (13) located on the transmission oil cooler. 24. Install brackets (11) with bolts (10) to each side of the radiator. 25. Connect wiring harness (9). Connect wires (7) and (8) to back-up alarm (6). 26. Position back-up alarm (6) on the machine and install bolts (5) that hold in place. 27. Position gaskets (4) and spacer (3) between the radiator and the bottom radiator tube. Install bolts (2).28. Close drain valve (1).29. Fill the transmission with oil to the correct level.30. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.31. Install access panel under the radiator.End By:a. *remove hydraulic oil coolerb. remove hood*This procedure is found in SENR5371 Machine Systems Module.
