1 1 244-1645 Seal Gp With an installation tool, press the seal group onto the water pump shaft until the stationary cup is fully seated inside the pump housing.
2 1 153-1256 Lip Type Seal By using an installation tool, install the lip type seal with the primary lip toward the gear. Press the lip type seal with a press until the lip type seal is flush with the face inside the housing. Do not install the lip type seal by hand.
3 1 246-3129 Pump Impeller The pump impeller should be pressed onto the shaft within the −0.25 to 0.00 mm (−0.010 to 0.000 inch) tolerance.
4 1 195-0319 Gear Press the gear until the gear is flush with the bearing.

1 1 246-3129 Pump Impeller Pump impeller should be flush with the shaft within −0.25 to 0.00 mm (−0.010 to 0.000 inch).
2 1 153-1256 Lip Type Seal Install the lip type seal with the primary lip toward the water pump drive gear. Press the oil seal with a press until the oil seal is flush with face of housing as shown in the Illustration 2.
Use installation tool. Do not install the lip type seal by hand.
3 1 352-2002 Water Pump Gear Press the water pump gear until the water pump gear is flush with the bearing (4).
5 1 336-2212 Water Pump Seal As Press the water pump seal assembly onto the shaft until the cup is fully seated inside the pump housing. Use installation tool.
Installation height (B) is 9.90 0.38 mm (0.390 0.015 inch).
6 1 203-3831 Cup Plug Maximum installation depth of the cup plug from the machined surface is 0.5 mm (0.02 inch). Orient the cup plug as shown in the Illustration 2, within 10 degrees.

Start By:
Remove the water temperature regulator.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Open door (1) and remove grill assembly (2).
