Clean the gasket surface of the exhaust manifold and the gasket surface of turbocharger (6).
If necessary, install the studs to the exhaust manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Exhaust Manifold - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
Position a new gasket (13) (not shown) onto exhaust manifold (14).
Install turbocharger (6) to exhaust manifold (14).Note: Do not use the actuator rod to lift the turbocharger.
Install nuts (15) to studs (12) finger tight. Support the weight of the turbocharger as the nuts are installed.
Temporarily install the exhaust elbow to ensure the correct alignment with the turbocharger and Clean Emissions Module (CEM). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Exhaust Elbow - Remove and Install (Exhaust Elbow between the Turbocharger and the Clean Emissions Module (CEM))" for the correct procedure.
Tighten the three accessible nuts (15) to a torque of 25 N m (18 lb ft).
Remove the exhaust elbow and tighten the remaining nut (15) to a torque of 25 N m (18 lb ft).
Install a new gasket (16) (not shown) onto tube assembly (19).
Position tube assembly (19) onto turbocharger (6). Install bolts (20) finger tight.
Position a new gasket (17) (not shown) between tube assembly (19) and the cylinder block. Install bolts (18) finger tight.
Tighten bolts (20) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Lubricate the bearings of turbocharger (6) with clean engine oil through the oil inlet port. Rotate the shaft of the turbocharger to distribute the lubricant.

Install new O-ring (25) (not shown) to tube assembly (9).
Install a new O-ring seal (8) (not shown) and new O-ring seal (11) (not shown) to tube assembly (9).
If necessary, follow Step 19a through Step 19g to install tube assembly (9).
Position tube assembly (9) onto the engine.
Install banjo bolt (10) to tube assembly (9) and turbocharger (6) finger tight.
Install bolts (26) finger tight. Ensure that O-ring seal (25) (not shown) remains in position as the bolts are tightened.
Install bolt (21) to clamp (23). Install the bolt assembly to bracket (22).
Tighten bolt (21) to a torque of 10 N m (89 lb in).
Tighten bolts (26) to a torque of 12 N m (106 lb in).
Install clip (24) to tube assembly (9) and engine harness (28).
Tighten banjo bolt (9) to a torque of 18 N m (159 lb in).
Install new O-ring seal (29) to oil pressure switch (27). Install the oil pressure switch into tube assembly (9) finger tight.
Tighten oil pressure switch (27) to a torque of 20 N m (177 lb in).
Install engine harness (28) to oil pressure switch (27).
If necessary, install the engine oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Cooler - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.
If necessary, install the crankcase breather assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Crankcase Breather - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

Ensure that hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (5) are correctly positioned onto hose assembly (3).
Install hose assembly (3) to the inlet manifold (4) and turbocharger (6).
Tighten hose clamp (2) and hose clamp (5) securely.
Ensure that hose assembly (1) is free from restriction or damage.
Install hose assembly (1) to turbocharger (6). Ensure that hose clamp (7) is in the correct position. Tighten hose clamp (7) securely.End By:
Install the exhaust elbow. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Exhaust Elbow - Remove and Install (Exhaust Elbow between the Turbocharger and the Clean Emissions Module (CEM))" for the correct procedure.
