Information:

Parameter Descriptions
Injector Trim Codes
Note: The injector trim codes are not part of the "Configuration" screen on the electronic service tool. "Injector Codes Calibration" can be found under "Calibrations" in the "Service" menu on the electronic service tool. The injector trim code is a number that is found on each of the unit injectors. The ECM uses this number to compensate for manufacturing variations between individual injectors. If you replace any of the unit injectors, you must reprogram the trim code for the new injectors. Also, if you replace the ECM, you must reprogram all of the trim codes.Equipment ID
The "Equipment ID" parameter allows the customer to enter a description into the ECM in order to identify the machine. A maximum of 17 characters can be entered in the field.Engine Serial Number
The "Engine Serial Number" should be programmed to match the engine serial number that is stamped on the engine information plate. The engine serial number is not preprogrammed on a replacement ECM.Rating Number
The "Rating Number" is a reference number that corresponds to the rating map that resides in the personality module (flash file). Flash files may contain more than one rating.FLS (Full Load Setting)
"FLS" is a number that represents the adjustment to the fuel system that was made at the factory in order to fine tune the fuel system. The correct value for this parameter is stamped on the engine information ratings plate. This value should only be changed if the engine is rerated or a new ECM is installed. Factory passwords are required.FTS (Full Torque Setting)
"FTS" is similar to "FLS". This value should only be changed if the engine is rerated or a new ECM is installed. Factory passwords are required.Engine Fan Control
The "Engine Fan Control" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled.Fan Reversing
The "Engine Fan Reversing Feature" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled.Ether Control (If Equipped)
The "Ether Control" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled.Installation Status of Air Inlet Heater (If Equipped)
The "Air Inlet Heater Installation Status" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled. If this parameter is programmed to "Enabled" on an application that is not equipped with an air inlet heater, erroneous diagnostic codes will be generated.System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle
The "System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Elevated Idle" for more information."Engine Security System"
This parameter allows the "Engine Security System" to be disabled or removed. If the "Engine Security System" is removed from the machine and this parameter is not programmed to "Disabled", the engine will not start. Factory passwords are required."Engine Oil Grade"
Do not program this parameter. Ensure that the proper oil grade plug (if equipped) is installed. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change"."Idle Quality Adjustment"
This parameter is used to fine tune the idle quality of the engine.System Configuration Parameters
