2. Disconnect water inlet pipe (1) from the radiator.3. Remove two fan guards (2). 4. Disconnect water outlet elbow (3) from the bottom of the radiator.5. Remove clip (4) from the radiator. 6. Remove four bolts (5) that hold the radiator guard in position on the right side of the machine. 7. Remove the four bolts that hold the radiator guard in position on the left side of the machine.8. Disconnect the wire harness for the headlights.9. Fasten a hoist to the radiator guard. Lift the radiator guard until the brackets that hold it in position are not in contact with the frame of the tractor.10. Remove the front bracket from the left side of the radiator guard. If the front bracket is not removed, it will hit the cylinder for the bail and push plate when the radiator guard is removed.11. Remove the radiator guard and radiator. Weight of the unit is 800 lb. (363 kg).12. Put the radiator guard and radiator on wood blocks. 13. Remove the bolts that hold shield assemblies (6) and (7) in position. Remove the shield assemblies. 14. Remove the two brackets (8) that hold the radiator to the radiator guard at the bottom. 15. Remove four bolts (10).16. Install two 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolts in the radiator core as shown. Fasten a hoist to the core and remove it from the radiator guard. Weight of core (9) is 550 lb. (250 kg).
Do not cause damage to the radiator core when it is removed from the radiator guard.
Install Radiator Guard And Radiator (Tractor Engine)
1. Fasten a hoist to radiator core (1) and put it in position in the radiator guard. Install the four bolts that hold it.2. Install the two brackets that hold the radiator core in position at the bottom of the radiator guard.3. Install shield assemblies (2). 4. Fasten a hoist to the radiator guard and radiator (3). Put the unit in position on the frame of the machine. Do not remove the hoist at this time.5. Install the left front bracket on the radiator guard. Remove the hoist.6. Install the eight bolts that hold the unit to the machine.7. Connect the wire harness for the headlights.8. Install the clip with the hydraulic lines on the lower shield assembly.9. Connect the water outlet elbow to the bottom of the radiator.10. Install the two fan guards.11. Connect the water inlet pipe to the top of the radiator.12. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. start by: a) remove hoods (tractor and scraper engines) The power pack is removed from the machine for better photo illustration of the removal and installation of the radiator guard and radiator.1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. 2. Remove the four bolts that hold the gauge panel to the radiator guard. Put gauge panel (1) over the top of the engine. 3. Remove fan guards (2) and (3). 4. Disconnect water outlet tube (4) from the radiator. 5. Loosen two clamps (5) and slide hose (6) down on the water inlet elbow. 6. Remove bolts (7) that hold the radiator guard to the engine and transmission supports. 7. Fasten a hoist to radiator guard and radiator. Remove unit (8) from the engine and transmission supports. Weight of the unit is 650 lb. (295 kg).8. Put the radiator guard and radiator in position on wood blocks. 9. Remove seven bolts and guard (9) from the radiator guard. 10. Remove bolt (10) from each side of the radiator guard. 11. Remove bolt (11) and bracket (12) from each side of the lower part of the radiator. 12. Remove four bolts (13) from the radiator.13. Remove the bolts that hold the shield assemblies to the radiator. Remove shield assemblies and radiator guards (14) as a unit.14. Remove water inlet elbow (15) from the radiator.Install Radiator Guard And Radiator (Scraper Engine)
1. Put radiator guards and shield assemblies (1) in position on the radiator. Use several bolts to hold the units.2. Install water inlet elbow (2) on the radiator. 3. Install four bolts (3) that hold the radiator top tank to the radiator guards.4. Install the two brackets at the bottom of the radiator.5. Install the two bolts that hold the radiator at the top tank. 6. Install guard (4). 7. Fasten a hoist to the radiator guard and radiator and put it in position on the engine and transmission supports. Install the bolts that hold it.8. Slide the hose for the water inlet elbow in position and install the clamps that hold it.9. Connect the water outlet tube to the radiator.10. Install the two fan guards.11. Install the gauge panel on the radiator guard.12. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Install four bolts (3) that hold the radiator top tank to the radiator guards.4. Install the two brackets at the bottom of the radiator.5. Install the two bolts that hold the radiator at the top tank. 6. Install guard (4). 7. Fasten a hoist to the radiator guard and radiator and put it in position on the engine and transmission supports. Install the bolts that hold it.8. Slide the hose for the water inlet elbow in position and install the clamps that hold it.9. Connect the water outlet tube to the radiator.10. Install the two fan guards.11. Install the gauge panel on the radiator guard.12. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
