start by: a) remove hoodb) remove crankcase guardsc) remove transmission lubrication regulator valved) remove universal jointe) remove transmission sequence relief valvef) remove torque converter scavenge oil pumpg) remove torque converter outlet relief valve1. Remove coolant from cooling system.2. Remove oil from torque divider housing and bevel gear case.3. Turn the fuel supply valve to the "OFF" position. 4. Disconnect hose (1) from elbow.5. Disconnect line (2). 6. Disconnect tube (3) from oil cooler. 7. Remove elbow (5) from radiator core and cylinder head.8. Remove hydraulic cylinder bracket (4).9. Loosen the fan belt tension. 10. Remove bolts (6) from fan.11. Put the fan against the radiator core.
Do not cause damage to the radiator core.
12. Remove clip (7) from hydraulic hoses. 13. Disconnect tube (8) from hydraulic oil pump. 14. Remove clip (9) at base of hydraulic oil tank. 15. Disconnect rod (10) from hydraulic control lever. 16. Remove hoses (11) and (12) from hydraulic oil tank.17. Remove bracket (13) from hydraulic oil tank and cylinder head. 18. Disconnect fuel line (15) at accessory drive housing.19. Disconnect cables (14) and (16) from starter. 20. Disconnect the two rods (18) from the brake pedals.21. Disconnect the two rods (21) from the two levers (20).22. Remove bolts (19) from bracket.23. Remove the eight bolts (17) that hold the brake pedals and bracket in position.24. Disconnect the two rods that are under the dash from the two levers (20).25. Remove the brake pedals and bracket as a unit. 26. Remove the nuts and washers that hold bracket (22) in position. Remove bracket (22).27. Remove tube (23) from torque divider housing and bevel gear case. 28. Disconnect tube (24) from scavenge oil pump for torque divider. 29. Remove the two bolts (25) from each side of the flywheel housing. 30. Remove the two bolts (26) from the front support. 31. Install a tool (A) in both front and rear of cylinder head.32. Fasten a hoist to the engine. Weight of engine, dash and torque divider as a unit is 3000 lb. (1360.8 kg).33. Remove engine.Install Engine And Torque Divider (Power Shift)
1. Install a tool (A) in both front and rear of cylinder head.2. Fasten a hoist to the engine.3. Put the engine in position in tractor.4. Install the two bolts in the front support of engine.5. Install the four bolts in the flywheel housing.6. Connect the tube to the scavenge oil pump for the torque divider. 7. Install the tube (2) between the torque divider housing and the bevel gear case.8. Install bracket (1) that holds hydraulic tubes in position. 9. Install the brake pedals and bracket as a unit in the tractor. Install the shims between the bracket and fenders.10. Install the eight bolts (3) that hold the bracket in position. Install two bolts (5) in bracket.11. Connect two rods (4) to brake pedals.12. Connect two rods (6) to levers.13. Connect the two rods under the dash to the levers. 14. Install bracket (8) to hydraulic oil tank and cylinder head.15. Connect two hoses (7) to hydraulic tank.16. Connect the two cables to the starter.17. Connect the fuel line to the accessory drive housing. 18. Connect rod (9) to the hydraulic control lever. 19. Install clip (10) at base of hydraulic tank.20. Connect tube (11) to hydraulic oil pump. 21. Install clip (12) on hydraulic hoses.22. Put the fan on the fan drive. Install the bolts that hold the fan in position.23. Make an adjustment to the fan belt tension. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE. 24. Install hydraulic cylinder bracket (13).25. Install elbow (14) on cylinder head. Connect the other end of the elbow to the radiator. 26. Connect the tube (15) to the bottom of the hydraulic oil cooler. 27. Connect hose (16) to elbow.28. Connect line (17).29. Turn the fuel supply valve to the "ON" position.30. Fill the bevel gear case with oil to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.31. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
