Install gasket (39) (not shown) to oil cooler core (3). Position bonnet (38), as shown. Install four bolts (37) which hold bonnet (38) to oil cooler core (3) .
Install gasket (36) (not shown) to oil cooler core (3). Position bonnet (35), as shown. Install four bolts (34) that hold bonnet (35) to oil cooler core (3).

Position support assembly (30) to oil cooler core (3), as shown. Install four bolts (33) and the washers that hold support assembly (30) to oil cooler core (3).

Position adapter (32) and the O-ring seal (not shown) on oil cooler core (3). Install four bolts (31) that hold adapter (32) to oil cooler core (3). Repeat this procedure for the remaining adapter.

Position a suitable lifting sling to oil cooler core (3) and support assembly (30), as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a hoist.
Position oil cooler core (3) and support assembly (30) to the frame assembly, as shown. Install four bolts (29) and the washers that hold support assembly (30) to the frame assembly. The weight of oil cooler core (3) and support assembly (30) as a unit is 48 kg (106 lb).

Install spring pin (28) to oil cooler inlet valve (13).

Install spacers (24), two springs (25) and (26), and load piston (27) to oil cooler inlet valve (13).
The following steps outline the procedure for determining the correct number of spacers to be installed in the cooler inlet valve.
Attach the oil cooler inlet valve to the test stand. Tighten the mounting bolts to a torque of 75 4 N m (55 3 lb ft).
Supply oil at a rate of 125 .8 L/min (33 0.2 US gpm) to the cooler inlet valve.
Maintain a pressure of 897 34 kPa (130 5 psi) at the inlet of the cooler inlet valve. Add the spacers or remove the spacers in order to maintain the specified flow of oil.

Install O-ring seal (22) to tube assembly (14). Install O-ring seal (23) to retainer (19).

Position retainer (19) and tube assembly (14) to cooler inlet valve (13). Hold tube assembly (14) to cooler inlet valve (13). Install four bolts (20) and the washers that hold tube assembly (14) to cooler inlet valve (13). Install O-ring seal (21) to tube assembly (14).

Position two hose assemblies (11) and (12) to frame assembly (16).
Position oil cooler inlet valve (13), tube assembly (14) and adapter (15) as a unit on oil cooler core (3).
Connect hose assembly (11) to adapter (15).
Connect hose assembly (12) to cooler inlet valve (13).

Install hose (9) to the oil cooler. Position two hose clamps (10) on hose (9). Tighten the hose clamps (10) to a torque of 12 2 N m (8.9 1.5 lb ft).
Position tube (7) and two hoses (6) and (8) as a unit to the oil cooler core. Position two hose clamps (5) on hose (6). Position two hose clamps (5) on hose (8). Tighten four hose clamps (5) to a torque of 12 2 N m (8.9 1.5 lb ft).
