A 2 6N-9133 Plate Gasket Thickness of one gasket between the cylinder block and spacer plates is 0.208 0.025 mm (0.0082 0.0010 inch).
B 2 6I-4613 Spacer Plate Thickness of one plate is 8.585 0.025 mm (0.3380 0.0010 inch).
1 2 4N-1650 Dowel Protrusion (C) is 18.04 0.50 mm (0.710 0.020 inch).
2 2 4N-1650 Dowel Protrusion (D) is 18.50 0.50 mm (0.728 0.020 inch).
3 3 7C-9614 Taperlock Plug Before assembly, apply white Loctite Breakloose PST to the threads.
Torque to 80 15 N m (59 11 lb ft).
4 5 4N-0614 Crankshaft Bearing Cap Width (E) of crankshaft bearing cap is 215.900 mm (8.5000 inch).
Width in the cylinder block for crankshaft bearing cap is 215.900 0.013 mm (8.5000 0.0005 inch).
F - - New dimension from centerline of crankshaft bearing bore to bottom of block (pan rails) is 165.10 mm (6.500 inch).
5 10 3P-1323 Bearing Cap Bolt Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bearing cap bolts :
1. Install bearing cap with the part number and ARROW toward the front of the block. Each cap has a number. Each cap must be installed in the same position as the correct number on the side of the cylinder block pan rail.
2. Before assembly, apply clean engine oil to the threads of the bolts.
3. Tighten the tab end bolt to 258 14 N m (190 10 lb ft).
4. Tighten the opposite end bolt to 258 14 N m (190 10 lb ft).
5. Turn opposite end bolt to an angle of 120 5 degrees.
6. Turn tab end bolt to an angle of 120 5 degrees.
