There are holes in the bores for the main bearings, between cylinders 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 for piston cooler orifices. These holes must have either orifices (10) or plugs (9) installed.
If a turbocharger is installed on the engine, be sure to install orifices (10) and an engine oil cooler. If the engine has an engine oil cooler and no turbocharger, be sure to install orifices (10).
