Information:
start by:a) remove hoodb) remove dashc) remove radiator and radiator guard1. Drain the oil from the transmission, bevel gear case and torque divider.2. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank.3. Turn fuel valve for fuel supply to the "OFF" position. The location of the valve is on the bottom of the fuel tank. 4. Remove three bolts (1) that hold plate (2).5. Disconnect two steering rods (4).6. Remove four bolts (5) then remove floor plate bracket (3). 7. Disconnect hoses (6) and (7). Put identifications on all hoses. Install plugs or caps to keep dirt out. 8. Fasten a hoist to the transmission and steering clutch filter (9). Remove the four bolts (8) that hold it to the machine frame. Remove the filter. Weight of the filter is 56 lb. (25 kg). 9. Disconnect wire (10) from starting motor to machine frame. Disconnect wire (11). 10. Remove universal joint (12) after eight bolts are removed. 11. Disconnect fuel line (13) that goes to fuel tank.12. Pull hose (14) through bracket on machine frame.13. Remove rear crankcase guard. 14. Disconnect hydraulic hose (15) from torque divider oil cooler to manifold assembly on transmission. 15. Remove universal joint (16) connected to torque divider and transmission. 16. Remove torque divider vent line (17). 17. Disconnect hydraulic line (18) from the torque divider oil pump.18. Disconnect hydraulic line (19) from sequence relief valve. 19. Remove magnetic oil screen (20). 20. Remove universal joint yoke (21). 21. Remove bolts (22) from engine rear mounts. 22. Remove bolts (23) from engine front support. Make a final check to be sure that all removals and disconnections have been made. 23. Install a 3/4"-10 NC forged eyebolt in front of cylinder head. Fasten a hoist and tool (A) in the eyebolt and two brackets at the rear mounts.24. Remove the engine and torque divider as a unit. Weight of the unit is 3000 lb. (1350 kg). Remove the shims from the frame of the machine. Put identification on the shims so they will not be mixed at assembly.Install Engine And Torque Divider
1. Fasten tool (A) to a hoist. Fasten tool (A) and the hoist to the engine and torque divider (1). Put the engine and torque divider in position over the frame of the machine. Do not lower the engine and torque divider on to the frame at this time. 2. Put shims (2) in the correct position under the engine rear mounts. Lower the engine and torque divider on to the frame with the holes in the engine mounts in alignment with the holes in the machine frame. 3. Install four bolts and nuts in the engine rear mounts. Install two bolts and nuts in the engine front supports. Tighten all bolts to a torque of 350 35 lb.ft. (470 45 N m). 4. Install universal joint (3) between the torque divider and transmission. Install the bolts that hold the universal joint and tighten them to a torque of 40 5 lb.ft. (55 7 N m). After installation of the engine and universal joint is complete, check the alignment of the universal joint as it is turned. If the rotation characteristics of the universal joint gives an indication of misalignment use the following procedure. Misalignments of the universal joint can be made correct by addition or removal of shims necessary between the frame and engine supports, or by movement of the engine accordingly. 5. Install universal joint yoke (4) in the power take-off drive flange. Install washer and the two bolts and lock that hold the yoke. 6. Install universal joint (5) for the power take-off drive. Install the bolts that hold the universal joint and tighten them to a torque of 20 3 lb.ft. (25 4 N m). 7. Install a new O-ring seal (6) on the magnetic oil screen flange. Install the magnetic oil screen (7) with the bolts that hold it. 8. Connect hose (9) to the magnetic oil screen and pull it through the bracket on the machine frame.9. Connect fuel line (8). 10. Connect wire (10) from battery to starting motor.11. Connect wire (11) to starting motor. 12. Fasten a hoist to the transmission and steering clutch filter (12). Put the filter in position on the machine frame and install the bolts that hold it. Remove the hoist. 13. Connect hoses (13) and (14) to the transmission and steering clutch filter. 14. Connect hydraulic hose (15) from torque divider oil cooler to manifold assembly on transmission. 15. Connect hydraulic line (17) to the torque divider oil pump.16. Connect hydraulic line (16) to the sequence relief valve. 17. Install torque divider vent line (18) and the bolts that hold it. 18. Connect two steering rods (20).19. Install the floor plate bracket (19) and the bolts that hold it. 20. Install plate (21) and the bolts that hold it.end by:a) install radiator and radiator guardb) install dashc) install hood
