This Special Instruction contains the procedure to install engine enclosure duct group on machines listed above. The engine enclosure door ducts are intended for machines in dredging applications, to prevent sand and seawater from being drawn through the enclosure doors and plugging the radiator.Important Safety Information

Lay out enclosure duct group locations on engine enclosure doors as per dimensions shown in Illustration 2.
Mark eight mounting hole locations from duct group to door.

Drill eight mounting holes of dimension 12.5 mm (0.49 inch) (D) at marked places in the engine enclosure door. Refer to Illustration 3.

Fasten duct assembly (1) to engine enclosure door using bolt (2), nut (3), and washer (4). Refer to Illustration 4.
Repeat Step 1 through Step 4 to install other duct assembly at opposite side.
