The naturally aspirated 3056 Marine engine uses full engine power for the axial drive. Refer to Table 1 for the maximum capability of the axial drive for the 138 kW (185 hp) turbocharged aftercooled 3056 Marine engine. If a drive pulley or a coupling is installed on the engine that is not supplied by Caterpillar, then refer to the OEM recommendations for use. However, ensure that the value for the maximum recommended power per belt is not exceeded.
