Information:

1. Remove six bolts (1) and lower guard assembly (2).
VIEW FROM UNDER MACHINE2. Remove six bolts (3) from the drive shaft.3. Disconnect tube assembly (4) from the scavange pump. 4. Disconnect lubrication hose (5) from the flange. Pull the hose up and move it out of the way of the engine.5. Disconnect oil outlet hose (7) from the flange.6. Disconnect oil inlet hose (6).
VIEW FROM UNDER MACHINE7. Disconnect wires (9) and (10) from the electric starting motor.8. Disconnect tachometer drive (8) from the fuel system.9. Disconnect the clip that holds the battery cables to the oil pan.10. Disconnect the clip that holds the battery cables to the left side of the cylinder block. 11. Disconnect wire harness (11) from the operator's cab. 12. Disconnect oil hoses (12) and (13) from the oil filter adapter base. 13. Remove water inlet pipe (14) from the water pump. 14. Disconnect clip (15) that holds the hydraulic hose over the front support.
Make sure the air pressure is zero.
15. Open the bleed valves to release the air from the system. 16. Disconnect air outlet line (16) and air inlet line (17) from the air compressor. 17. Remove four bolts (18) and elbow assembly (19). 18. Disconnect fuel lines (20), (21), and (22) from the fuel injection pump. Put identification on the lines so they will not be mixed at installation.19. Remove the clips that hold fuel line (22) to the timing gear cover and the water temperature regulator housing. 20. Disconnect wire harness (26) at the rear of the engine.21. Disconnect the governor control rod at lever (24). Loosen the two setscrews in shaft (27) and pull the shaft to the right until lever (24) is away from the operator's cab.22. Disconnect tube (25) from the rear of the cylinder head.23. Disconnect ground wire (23) from the operator's cab. 24. Disconnect two battery cables (32) from the solenoid.25. Remove clamp (28) that holds the hydraulic hose in position.26. Disconnect rod (33) at the rear of the governor control linkage.27. Remove the clamp that holds battery cable (31) in position under the solenoid. Pull the cable out of the clamp and move it away from the engine.28. Disconnect the cable from the air fuel ratio control.29. Remove two bolts (30) and spacers that hold the control bracket for the air fuel ratio in position. Move the bracket and cable away from the engine.30. Disconnect hose (29) from the rear of the flywheel housing. 31. Remove four bolts (34) that hold the engine in position in the front. Remove the two support assemblies that hold the engine in position at the rear. 32. Fasten a hoist to the engine as shown and remove it from the tractor. Weight of the engine is 3000 lb. (1361 kg).Install Engine
1. Fasten a hoist to engine (1) as shown and put it in position in the tractor.
Make sure the support assemblies at the rear of the engine are in the correct position on a seat.
2. Install the four bolts that hold the engine in position at the front.3. Install the two support assemblies and four bolts that hold the engine at the rear. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 350 35 lb.ft. (470 45 N m). 4. Connect hose (3) to the rear of the flywheel housing.5. Put the bracket that holds the cable for the air fuel ratio in position. Install the spacers and bolts (4) that hold it. Connect the cable to the lever on the air fuel ratio control.6. Put cable (5) in position and install the clamp that holds it under the solenoid.7. Connect rod (7) to the lever for the governor control.8. Install clamp (2) that holds the hydraulic hose in position at the rear of the engine.9. Connect two battery cables (6) at the solenoid. 10. Push shaft (12) to the left until lever (8) is in position under the operator's cab. Connect the governor control rod to lever (8). Tighten the setscrews that hold shaft (12) in position.11. Connect tube (11) for the air fuel ratio control to the rear of the cylinder head.12. Connect ground wire (9) to the operator's cab.13. Connect wire harness (10). 14. Connect two fuel lines (13) to the fuel injection pump housing.15. Connect fuel line (14) to the fuel injection pump housing. Install the clips that hold the fuel line to the timing gear cover and the water temperature regulator housing.16. Install the elbow assembly on the air cleaner housing.17. Connect the air inlet line and air outlet line to the air compressor. 18. Install clip (15) that holds the hydraulic hose over the front support.19. Install the water inlet pipe on the water pump.20. Connect the two oil lines to the oil filter adapter base.21. Connect the main wire harness for the tractor engine.22. Connect the tachometer drive to the fuel system.23. Connect the wires to the electric starting motor. 24. Connect oil inlet hose (18).25. Connect oil outlet hose (7).26. Connect lubrication hose (16) to the flange. 27. Connect oil tube (20) to the scavenge pump.28. Install six bolts (19) in the drive shaft. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 320 15 lb. ft. (435 20 N m), or tighten the bolts to a torque of 50 lb. ft. (70 N m) plus 90° more.29. Install guard assembly over the drive shaft.end by:a) install radiator guard and radiator
