Start By:a. remove lubrication pump drive (gear pump) *b. remove ladder assemblyc. remove top cover assembly (engine)*This operation is located in the Disassembly & Assembly, 5130B Excavator, Machine Systems module, SENR1472
Do not remove any valve, hydraulic fitting, or valve core, nor disassemble any parts until pressure has been released. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or death. The following procedure must be used to release system pressure.To relieve pressure: 1. Shut off engine. 2. With operator in seat and bucket on ground, engage neutralizing lever and actuate an implement control lever about ten times to release pressure in hydraulic system.
Mark and identify all hose assemblies for installation purposes. Cap and plug all hose assemblies to avoid system contamination. Mark and identify all wire harnesses for installation purposes. 1. Remove all tie straps (2) holding wiring harness (3) to enclosure assembly (1). 2. Disconnect wiring harnesses (4), (5), and (6) at the electrical connections. Disconnect hose assembly (8), from ether starting aid (7). 3. Disconnect wires (10), (11), and (12) from shutoff switch (9). 4. Disconnect wiring harnesses (13) and (14) at the electrical connections. 5. Disconnect pressure differential sensors (18), (19), and (20) at electrical connections. Using two people, remove four bolts (15), (16), (17), (21), and the washers holding the screen groups to the mounting brackets. Set the screens out of the way. 6. Loosen cap screw (23) and disconnect wiring harness (22) at the electrical connection. Loosen cap screw (25) and disconnect wiring harness (24) at the electrical connection. Remove two bolts (26) the clips and the washers that hold wiring harnesses (22) and (24) to the enclosure assembly. Remove eight machine screws (27) from receptacle cap (28) and cap assembly (29). 7. Using two people, remove 11 bolts (30) and the washers that
