Information:

5. Put identification on the wires so they will not be mixed at assembly. Disconnect wires (1) from the starting motor and pull clear of the engine. 6. Disconnect the glow plug lead wire (2) and pull clear of the engine.7. Disconnect fuel line (3) from the fuel filter base. 8. Remove four bolts and spacers (4). Remove fender support (5). Do Step 9 for direct drive and special application machines only. 9. Disconnect hose assembly (6) from the transmission oil and scavenge pump. Disconnect tube assembly (7). Do Step 10 for power shift machines only.10. Disconnect the torque converter oil cooler lines from the oil cooler. 11. Remove two bolts (8) and two plates (9) (one from each fender).12. Remove two bolts (10) that hold the rear of the engine to the support brackets. 13. Remove two bolts (11) and nuts from the front support. 14. Fasten a hoist to the engine so the rear of the engine will be a little lower than the front as the engine is removed. Remove engine (12). The weight of the engine is 2000 lb. (900 kg). 15. Put identification on the shims so that they will not be mixed at assembly. Remove shims (13) from the brackets and washers from the front support.Install Engine
1. Put shims (1) in their original positions on the rear brackets.2. Put washers (2) in position on the front supports. 3. Fasten a hoist to the engine so the rear of the engine is a little lower than the front when the engine is installed. Put engine (3) in position in the machine.4. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the threads of the rear bolts. Install the bolts in the rear mount brackets. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 400 40 lb.ft. (540 55 N m).5. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease on the threads of the front support bolts. Install the bolts and nuts in the front support. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 400 40 lb.ft. (540 55 N m). 6. Put plates (4) in position on the fenders (one on each fender). Install bolts and washers (5). 7. Put fender support (7) in position. Install bolts and spacers (6) that hold it. Do Steps 8 and 9 for direct drive and special application machines only. 8. Connect hose assembly (8) to the transmission oil and scavenge pump.9. Connect tube assembly (9). Do Step 10 for power shift machines only.10. Connect the torque converter oil cooler lines to the oil cooler. 11. Connect fuel line (10) to the fuel filter base.12. Connect glow plug lead wire (11). 13. Connect wires (12) to the starting motor.14. Turn the fuel supply valve to the "ON" position.15.
