(2) Main bearing cap bolts Use the following procedure to install the main bearing cap bolts:
Apply 6V-4876 Lubricant on the threads and on the face of the washer.
Tighten all of the bolts to a torque of 41 4 N m (30 3 lb ft).
Put a mark on each bolt and each cap.
Tighten each bolt to an additional 90 5 degrees from the mark. Note: Install the bearing caps with the part number toward the front of the engine. Ensure that the mark (number) on the bearing cap next to the bolt hole is in agreement with the mark in the cylinder block.
