Information:

1. Open door assemblies (1) and (2). 2. Remove top inside bolt (3) for each cooler.3. Loosen top outside bolt (4) for each cooler. 4. Remove bottom inside bolt (6) for each cooler.5. Loosen bottom outside bolt (5) and remove bolt (6) from each cooler.6. Move (swing) the inside of the coolers toward the front of the machine. Tighten bolt (4) and (5) to hold the coolers in place.
Install bolts (6) in the threaded holes from which they were removed to prevent personal injury.
7. Remove the bolts that hold fan (7) to the adapter. Use two persons and remove the fan from the adapter and put it against the radiator. The weight of the fan is 120 lb. (54 kg).
Be extra careful not to cause damage to the radiator.
8. Disconnect oil lines (9) and (10) from fan drive motor (8). Put plugs in the openings. 9. Loosen nut (14) that holds adapter (15) on the fan drive motor approximately 1/8 in. (3.175 mm).10. Install two 3/8" - 16 NC forcing screws in adapter (15) and loosen adapter (15) from the taper. Remove the nut (14) and adapter (15).11. Remove fan drive motor (16) from support assembly (13). If adapter (15) can not be removed with the forcing screws, do Steps 12 through 15. 12. Disconnect wire (11) from horns (12). Remove wire (11) from the support assembly. 13. Install tooling (A) to support assembly (13). Remove the bolts that hold the support assembly in place. Remove support assembly (13) and fan drive pump as a unit. The weight is 165 lb. (74 kg).14. Make sure nut (14) is approximately 1/8 in. (3.175 mm) loose. Use tooling (B) and loosen adapter (15) from the taper. Remove nut (14) and adapter (15). 15. Remove fan drive motor (8) from the support assembly.Install Fan Drive Motor
Steps 1 and 2 are shown with the support assembly removed from the machine for better photo illustration. 1. Install fan drive motor (1) on support assembly (2). 2. Install adapter (4) on the shaft and install nut (3) that holds the adapter in place. Tighten the nut to a torque of 300 30 lb.ft. (410 40 N m). Do Steps 3 and 4 if it was necessary to remove support assembly (2). 3. Install tooling (A) to the support assembly and fasten a hoist. Install support assembly (2). 4. Connect wire (5) to horns (6). 5. Connect oil lines (7) and (8) to fan drive motor (1).

6. Use two persons and install fan (9) on the adapter of the fan drive motor. 7. Remove bolts (10).8. Move (swing) the inside of the coolers toward the radiator. 9. Install bottom inside bolt (12) for each cooler.10. Tighten bottom outside bolt (11) for each cooler. 11. Install top inside bolt (14) for each cooler.12. Tighten top outside bolt (13) for each cooler. 13. Close door assemblies (15) and (16).Disassemble Fan Drive Motor
start by:a) remove fan drive motor Make sure the outside of the fan drive motor is clean. 1. Remove seal plate (1) from the flange. 2. Remove seal (2) from seal plate (1). 3. Remove bolts (4). Remove flange (3) from the body. Pressure plate (6) has notches on the ends. Make a note of the shap of pressure plate (6) for correct installation. 4. Remove pressure plate (6).5. Remove seals (5) and (7) from the pressure plate. 6. Remove drive gear (8) and idler gear (9) from the body. Pressure plate (10) has notches only on the sides. Make a note of the shape of pressure plate (10) for correct installation.7. Remove pressure plate (10) from the body. Remove the seals from the pressure plate.
There is spring pressure behind plug (11).
8. Remove plug (11). Remove the spring and the piston.Assemble Fan Drive Motor
1. Clean and inspect all parts. Make a replacement of the parts that are worn or damaged. Put clean oil on the parts of the fan drive motor. 2. Install the O-ring seal on plug (3).3. Install piston (1), spring (2) and plug (3) in the body. 4. Put seals (5) and (6) in position in pressure plate (4). 5. Put the pressure plate in position in the body.6. Put drive gear (7) and idler gear (8) in position in the body. 7. Put seals (9) and (11) in position in pressure plate (10). 8. Put the pressure plate in position on the gears.9. Put O-ring seal (13) in position in flange (12).10. Install the flange on the body. 11. Use tooling (A) to install seal (14) in seal plate (16). The lip of the seal must be toward the inside of the fan drive motor. 12. Put O-ring seal (15) in position in seal plate (16).13. Install seal plate (16) on flange (12).end by:a) install fan drive motor
