Information:
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Fasten a hoist and remove the hood over the engine. The weight is 43 lb. (20 kg). The power pack is removed from the machine for better photo illustration. 2. Remove bolt (1) that holds clip (2) in place. 3. Remove bolts (4) that hold the gauge panel to the radiator guard. Put gauge panel (3) over the top of the engine.4. Remove brace (5) from both sides of the radiator. 5. Remove fan gaurds (6). 6. Disconnect water outlet tube (7) from the radiator. 7. Loosen clamps (9) and slide hose (8) down on the water inlet elbow. 8. Disconnect the wire for the back-up warning alarm. Remove the guard from the front of the radiator. Install a 5P9736 Bracket-Link (Tooling A) on the front of the radiator and two 5P9736 Bracket-Links (Tooling A) on the back of the radiator and fasten a hoist. 9. Remove bolts (11) from each side of the radiator that hold the radiator guard to the frame rails.10. Remove radiator guard and radiator (10). The weight is approximately 650 lb. (293 kg). Put the radiator guard and radiator on wooden blocks. Do not remove the hoist. 11. Remove bolt (12) from each side of the radiator guard. 12. Loosen bolts (15). Remove bolt (13) and bracket (14) from each side of the lower part of the radiator. 13. Remove four bolts (16) from the radiator. Fasten a hoist to the radiator guards. Remove bolts (18) that hold the shield assemblies to the radiator. Remove shield assemblies and radiator guards (17) as a unit. The weight is 110 lb. (49.5 kg).14. Remove water inlet elbow (19) from the radiator.Install Radiator Guard And Radiator
1. Install water inlet elbow (3) on the radiator. 2. Fasten a hoist and put shield assemblies and radiator guards (2) in position on the radiator. Install the bolts that hold the shield assemblies to the radiator. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.3. Install bolts (1) that hold the radiator top tank to the radiator guards. Do not tighten at this time. 4. Install brackets (4) at the bottom of the radiator. 5. Install bolt (5) on each side that hold the radiator at the top tank. Tighten all the bolts that hold the radiator guards to the radiator. 6. Put the radiator guards and radiator (6) in position on the frame rails. 7. Install bolts (7) on each side that hold the radiator guards and radiator to the frame rails. 8. Slide hose (8) for the water inlet elbow in position and tighten clamps (9). 9. Connect water outlet tube (10) and gasket to the radiator. 11. Install fan guards (11). 12. Fasten a hoist to the radiator front guard. Slide wire (13) for the back-up warning alarm through the tube on the left top corner of the radiator. Install radiator front guard (12). 13. Install brace (15) on both sides of the radiator.14. Install gauge panel (14) on the radiator guard. 15. Install clip (17) and bolt (16) that hold the clip in place.16. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.17. Fasten a hoist and put the hood over the engine.
1. Install water inlet elbow (3) on the radiator. 2. Fasten a hoist and put shield assemblies and radiator guards (2) in position on the radiator. Install the bolts that hold the shield assemblies to the radiator. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.3. Install bolts (1) that hold the radiator top tank to the radiator guards. Do not tighten at this time. 4. Install brackets (4) at the bottom of the radiator. 5. Install bolt (5) on each side that hold the radiator at the top tank. Tighten all the bolts that hold the radiator guards to the radiator. 6. Put the radiator guards and radiator (6) in position on the frame rails. 7. Install bolts (7) on each side that hold the radiator guards and radiator to the frame rails. 8. Slide hose (8) for the water inlet elbow in position and tighten clamps (9). 9. Connect water outlet tube (10) and gasket to the radiator. 11. Install fan guards (11). 12. Fasten a hoist to the radiator front guard. Slide wire (13) for the back-up warning alarm through the tube on the left top corner of the radiator. Install radiator front guard (12). 13. Install brace (15) on both sides of the radiator.14. Install gauge panel (14) on the radiator guard. 15. Install clip (17) and bolt (16) that hold the clip in place.16. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
