Attachment Of The Cable For The Governor Actuator (315B, 322B, 325B And 330B)
(1) Accelerator Cable
(2) Nut
(3) Support
(4) Bellows
(5) Lever
Turn the nut (2) and the locknut of the accelerator cable (1) in the counterclockwise direction until the nuts are separated.
Insert the threaded "L" end of the accelerator cable (1) through the hole in the lever (5). Install the nut in order to hold the cable in position.
Insert the other threaded portion of the accelerator cable (1) into the notch of the support (3).
Turn the lever (5) in the counterclockwise direction to the position of high idle.
Hold the lever (5) against the position of HIGH IDLE STOP. Then, turn the nut (2) clockwise until the slack is removed from the bellows (4). The nut (2) should be tightened for approximately two turns more.
Tighten the locknut against the support (3).
Ensure that the nut (2) remains in position while the locknut is tightened against the support (3).
Reinstall the two clamps to the accelerator cable (1). Do not allow the cable (1) to twist.Note: Ensure that the governor lever is in contact with the high idle stop. Also, ensure that the nut (2) is correctly tightened in order to ensure that the accelerator cable has the correct tension. The setting of the engine speed or an overload condition of the governor actuator could result if the cable is not tightened correctly.Note: When the current governor is being used, the following conditions will be applicable:
When the accelerator cable (1) is disconnected from the governor lever and the engine speed dial is in a position rather than 10, the initial calibration procedure is required.
No initial setting is required, if the accelerator cable (1) is disconnected from the governor lever and the engine speed dial is positioned at 10. However, the initial setting is required, when electricity is sent to the governor actuator.311B, 312B, and 320B

Turn the nut (10) and the locknut of the accelerator cable (2) in the counterclockwise direction until the nuts are separated.
Insert the threaded end "L" of the accelerator cable (2) through the hole in the lever (5). Install the nut in order to hold the cable in position.
Insert the other threaded portion of the accelerator cable (2) into the notch of the support (3).
Turn the lever (5) to the position of high idle.
Hold the lever (5) against the position of HIGH IDLE STOP. Then, turn the nut (10) clockwise until the slack is removed from bellows (9). The nut (10) should be tightened for approximately two turns more.
Tighten the locknut (8) against the support (3). Ensure that the nut (10) remains in position on the threaded portion of the accelerator cable (2) while the locknut is being tightened against the support (3).
Reinstall the two clamps to the accelerator cable (2). Do not allow the cable (2) to twist.
Insert the joint of the decelerator cable (6) through the hole in the lever (5). Install the nut (11) to hold the cable (6) in position.
Loosen the nut (7) and the locknut (11) on decelerator cable (6).
Insert the other threaded portion of the decelerator cable (6) into the notch of the support (3).
Hold the lever (5) against the position of HIGH IDLE STOP and turn the nut (7) clockwise until the slack is removed from the bellows (4). The nut (7) should be loosened for two turns more.
Tighten the locknut (11) against the support (3). Ensure that the nut (7) remains in position while the nut (7) is tightened against the support (3).Note: Ensure that the governor lever is in contact with the high idle stop. Also, ensure that the nut (8) is correctly tightened in order to ensure that the accelerator cable (2) has the correct tension. The setting of the engine speed and an overload of the governor actuator could result, if the cable is not correctly tightened.Note: When the current governor actuator is being used the following conditions are applicable:
The initial setting should always be performed when the governor actuator is being supplied with power.Note: If the current governor, that is being used, is a governor from spare parts, then do not send electricity to the governor. The initial setting of the governor should always be performed because the governor may have received electricity.Calibration Of The Governor Actuator
Note: For more information, see the topic Testing And Adjusting, "Governor Actuator".
Start the engine. Perform the calibration procedure for the governor actuator.
Clear the error log, after the calibration procedure has been correctly performed.Note: For more information, see Testing And Adjusting, "Error Log".
