Aftertreatment System Functional Test
$0002 Active Diagnostic Present Resolve any active diagnostic codes. Refer to the appropriate troubleshooting procedure.
$0006 Aborted By User The service test was canceled by the user.
$0009 Service Test Aborted By ECM Check the service tool connection, do not abort the test before the test is complete. Repeat the test, if necessary.
$105F Test Timed Out Not all conditions were met in order for the test to complete. Restart the "Aftertreatment System Functional Test".
$10A7 Coolant Temperature Too Low Allow the engine to warmup.
$1010 Engine Stopped (No Engine RPM) Start the engine.
$1169 Engine Exhaust Back Pressure Too Low The SCR catalyst inlet pressure sensor may not be installed in the exhaust stream, or the exhaust piping is leaking, or is disconnected.
$11A8 Aftertreatment SCR Catalyst Conversion Efficiency Too Low The SCR system NOx conversion is too low to perform the test. Refer to Troubleshooting, "NOx Conversion is Low".
$11A9 Aftertreatment Outlet NH3 Too High There is too much NH3 in the exhaust. Raise the exhaust temperature of the exhaust by operating the engine at a higher speed/load.
$11AA Aftertreatment SCR Catalyst Reagent Temperature Too Low The temperature of the DEF is too low. Operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature.
$11B5 Aftertreatment #1 NOx Level Sensors Not Ready The NOx sensors have not reached the correct temperature to start reading the NOx Level. Perform an ARD ignition test to raise the exhaust temperatures.
$11B9 Aftertreatment #1 SCR Catalyst Intake Gas Temperature Too Low The temperature of the exhaust system is not high enough to perform the test. Operate the engine to raise the exhaust temperatures. Restart the "Aftertreatment System Functional Test".
$11BB Diesel Exhaust Fluid Level Too Low The DEF tank level is too low to successfully perform the test. Add DEF to the tank.
$11C2 Aftertreatment SCR System In Warmup Mode The temperature of the exhaust system is not high enough to perform the test. Operate the engine to raise the exhaust temperatures. Restart the Aftertreatment System Functional Test.
$11C3 Aftertreatment SCR System Not Able to Prime The SCR Dosing system cannot prime. Refer to Troubleshooting, "DEF Pressure is Low".
DEF Dosing System Accuracy Test
$0002 Active Diagnostic Present Resolve any active diagnostic codes. Refer to the appropriate troubleshooting procedure.
$0006 Aborted By User The service test was canceled by the user.
$0009 Service Test Aborted By ECM Check the service tool connection, do not abort the test before the test is complete. Repeat the test, if necessary.
$1011 Engine Running (Engine RPM Present) The test cannot run with the engine running, turn the engine OFF.
$11AA Aftertreatment SCR Catalyst Reagent Temperature Too Low The temperature of the DEF is too low. Operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature.
