In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4569" as Part Number, "7755" as Group Number, and "96" as Description Code. Problem
The engine may shift slightly allowing the fan to contact the fan shroud on certain E200B and EL200B Excavators. The engine mounts may crack on certain E240B and EL240B Excavators.

Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling. Attach. (1-Rework Procedure) Rework Procedure 1. Remove the brush guard (if equipped). 2. Use a small hydraulic jack to lift the engine. 3. Remove the engine mount bolts with a 3/4" universal drive socket and remove the bolts. 4. Replace the four existing mounts with the new mounts. See the illustration. 5. Tighten the 8T6381 Mounting Bolt to a torque of 352 +/- 29 N.m (259 +/- 22 lb ft). The previous torque was 323 +/- 29 N.m (239 +/- 22 lb ft). The increase in torque eliminates the need for checking the engine bolt mounting torque at the first 100 hours, and at every 500 hours of machine operation, as called for in the operation and maintenance guide. Make a note of the change in the appropriate Service Manual Modules. 6. Verify that the fan shroud is centered with respect to the fan. This will further reduce the possibility of the fan contacting the shroud.
