HMI Monitor Display screen
The HMI Display shown in Illustration 1 is a touch screen display that provides MEO controls and data on operations such as fuel consumption, modes, and reports. The screen is designed to default to a chart showing daily, trip, and lifetime MEO fuel savings. The screen is also customizable to the operators preference.

Login Screen
The MEO can be programmed to require a login for access or for access to specific functionality. If a login is allowed, the MEO administrator can provide access to more people. If the MEO is programmed to require a login, the MEO cannot be activated without first logging in as prompted. Refer to Illustration 2.Screens

This screen shows basic engine data, bus electrical information, and information on the MEO status of each engine.The colored "G"icon circle inside the gray engine box indicates one of the following colors:Green - The engine is online.White - The engine is on standby.Grey - The engine is offline.The box on the right side of each gray engine box indicates the current MEO efficiency zone. In each efficiency zone is a load range in which an engine is allowed to operate before MEO readjusts for changes in load.The "Generator Breaker Status" can be determined by box connector from the engine to the bus lines. The MEO Diagnostic Screen, refer to Illustration 7, enables the user to contact MEO technical support with useful data for troubleshooting various MEO, power management system, generator, engine components, and alarms. From this screen the operator can also view and silence an active alarm.Modes
Illustration 8 g06285446Once you have logged in, a "Control Mode Selection" pop-up will appear prompting you to select an appropriate mode.MEO has three primary modes of operation. Refer to Illustration 8.Full Advisory Mode - The vessels power management system accepts all instructions from the MEO system as limited by the customer-specific programming. When activated, a green LED light will glow from behind the lower cabinet screen.Load Advisory Mode - The vessels power management system will only follow the MEO recommendations when the recommendations align with current operating configurations. When activated, a green LED light will glow from behind the lower cabinet screen.Control Off Mode - This mode disables the MEO from providing advisory information.MEO can be activated from multiple locations. MEO can be controlled from the cabinet mount screen, any hard wired remote mounted screen, and from the vessel data system. The system will operate based on the latest command from any of the command sources.Each MEO installation is programmed with specific customer parameters to align MEO operation with the vessel operational requirements. MEO cannot override customer parameters. MEO inputs to the vessels power management system are advisory.Note: Advisory inputs cannot override power management commands.Activation of the MEO cabinet occurs as follows:
Activation from the cabinet-mounted touch screen display that has a section labeled"Control Mode Selection" with touch connections for each option.
Activation from the remote-mounted hard wired MEO touch screen.Once logged in the screen will have a middle section labeled "Control Mode Selection" with touch connections for each option.
Activation from the vessel data system.Every vessel data system will have a different screen view for the operation of MEO. Consult the vessel data system operation manual for proper usage.
