Fasten a hoist and tool (A) in the eyebolt and two brackets at the rear mounts.24. Remove the engine and torque divider as a unit. Weight of the unit is 3000 lb. (1350 kg). Remove the shims from the frame of the machine. Put identification on the shims so they will not be mixed at assembly.Install Engine And Torque Divider
1. Fasten tool (A) to a hoist. Fasten tool (A) and the hoist to the engine and torque divider (1). Put the engine and torque divider in position over the frame of the machine. Do not lower the engine and torque divider on to the frame at this time. 2. Put shims (2) in the correct position under the engine rear mounts. Lower the engine and torque divider on to the frame with the holes in the engine mounts in alignment with the holes in the machine frame. 3. Install four bolts and nuts in the engine rear mounts. Install two bolts and nuts in the engine front supports. Tighten all bolts to a torque of 350 35 lb.ft. (470 45 N m). 4. Install universal joint (3) between the torque divider and transmission. Install the bolts that hold the universal joint and tighten them to a torque of 40 5 lb.ft. (55 7 N m). After installation of the engine and universal joint is complete, check the alignment of the universal joint as it is turned. If the rotation characteristics of the universal joint gives an indication of misalignment use the following procedure. Misalignments of the universal joint can be made correct by addition or removal of shims necessary between the frame and engine supports, or by movement of the engine accordingly. 5. Install universal joint yoke (4) in the power take-off drive flange. Install washer and the two bolts and lock that hold the yoke. 6. Install universal joint (5) for the power take-off drive. Install the bolts that hold the universal joint and tighten them to a torque of 20 3 lb.ft. (25 4 N m). 7. Install a new O-ring seal (6) on the magnetic oil screen flange. Install the magnetic oil screen (7) with the bolts that hold it. 8. Connect hose (9) to the magnetic oil screen and pull it through the bracket on the machine frame.9. Connect fuel line (8). 10. Connect wire (10) from battery to starting motor.11. Connect wire (11) to starting motor. 12. Fasten a hoist to the transmission and steering clutch filter (12). Put the filter in position on the machine frame and install the bolts that hold it. Remove the hoist. 13. Connect hoses (13) and (14) to the transmission and steering clutch filter. 14. Connect hydraulic hose (15) from torque divider oil cooler to manifold assembly on transmission. 15. Connect hydraulic line (17) to the torque divider oil pump.16.
