Information:
Parameter Descriptions
"Product ID"
The "Product ID" parameter allows the customer to enter a description into the ECM in order to identify the machine. A maximum of 8 characters can be entered in the field."Equipment ID"
The "Equipment ID" parameter allows the customer to enter a description into the ECM in order to identify the machine. A maximum of 17 characters can be entered in the field."Engine Serial Number"
The "Engine Serial Number" should be programmed to match the engine serial number that is stamped on the engine information plate. The engine serial number is not preprogrammed on a replacement ECM."Rating Number"
The "Rating Number" is a reference number that corresponds to the rating map that resides in the personality module (flash file). Flash files may contain more than one rating."FLS" (Full Load Setting)
"FLS" is a number that represents the adjustment to the fuel system that was made at the factory in order to fine tune the fuel system. The correct value for this parameter is stamped on the engine information ratings plate. This value should only be changed if the engine is rerated or a new ECM is installed. Factory passwords are required."FTS" (Full Torque Setting)
"FTS" is similar to "FLS". This value should only be changed if the engine is rerated or a new ECM is installed. Factory passwords are required."Engine Fan Control"
The "Engine Fan Control" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled."Engine Fan Reversing Feature"
The "Engine Fan Reversing Feature" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled."Ether Control" (If Equipped)
The "Ether Control" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled."Air Inlet Heater Installation Status" (If Equipped)
The "Air Inlet Heater Installation Status" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled. If this parameter is programmed to "Enabled" on an application that is not equipped with an air inlet heater, erroneous diagnostic codes will be generated."System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle"
The "System Battery Voltage Low Elevated Idle" parameter allows the operation of this feature to be enabled or disabled. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Elevated Idle" for more information."Engine Security System Status"
This parameter allows the "Engine Security System" to be disabled or removed. If the "Engine Security System" is removed from the machine and this parameter is not programmed to "Disabled", the engine will not start. Factory passwords are required."Engine Oil Weight"
The "Engine Oil Weight" parameter defaults to "Automatic Detection". Do not program this parameter."Idle Quality Adjustment"
This parameter is used to fine tune the idle quality of the engine.System Configuration Parameters
