Not Programmed     J1/P1:6, 7, 22, 23, 35, 40, 44, 45, 46, 47, 56, 58, 59, 60
"J1939 Body Controller"
"J1939 Cab Controller"
"J1939 Instrument Cluster"    "Transmission Neutral Switch"
The ECM receives a signal from the transmission when the transmission is in neutral. The signal from the transmission can be broadcast over the J1939 data link or the signal can be sent directly to the ECM at terminal J1/P1:62. If a transmission neutral switch is not utilized, this parameter must be programmed to "None".
Table 2
Default     Alternative
None     "J1/P1:62"
"J1939"    "Transmission Neutral Start Interlock"
The neutral start interlock programmable setting enables the engine ECM to listen for the crank enable or crank disable message from the transmission. The engine ECM must also control the starter relay allowing the engine to start. The neutral start interlock is used with the engine running output parameter. The engine running output parameter must be set to J1/P1: 29, 30 or 31 to enable the starter. To enable the starter, the ECM provides a path to ground.
Table 3
Default     Alternative
Disabled     Enabled    "Ignore Brake/Clutch Switch"
This input is used for applications that require the mobile use of the vehicle with a set PTO engine set rpm that does not require the brake or the clutch to disengage the engine PTO operation.

Default     Alternative
Not Programmed     J1/P1:6, 7, 22, 23, 35, 40, 44, 45, 46, 47, 56, 58, 59, 60    "Torque Limit Switch"
This input limits the engine torque to a programmable value. The "Torque Limit Switch" parameter cannot be programmed if the "PTO Configuration" is programmed to "Off". If the "PTO Configuration" is programmed to "Off", the ECM will ignore the "Torque Limit Switch".

This input allows the operator to disable the PTO.

"J1939 Body Controller"
"J1939 Cab Controller"
"J1939 Instrument Cluster"    "Remote PTO Set Switch"
This input is used when the "PTO Configuration" is programmed to "Remote Switches" or to "Remote Throttle" and the "PTO On/Off" switch is in the ON position.

"J1939 Body Controller"
"J1939 Cab Controller"
"J1939 Instrument Cluster"    "Remote PTO Resume Switch"
This input resumes PTO operation. This input is available when the "PTO Configuration" is programmed to "Remote Switches" or to "Remote Throttle" and the "PTO On/Off" switch is in the ON position.

"J1939 Body Controller"
"J1939 Cab Controller"
"J1939 Instrument Cluster"    "PTO Engine RPM Set Speed Input A"
This input is used to control engine speed during PTO operation. The "PTO Configuration" parameter must be programmed to "Cab Switches", to "Remote Switches" or to "Remote Throttle" and the "PTO Engine RPM Speed Input A" parameter must be programmed to a valid speed.
