Motorcycle Ignition Coil Compatible With Tohatsu M2.5A2 M3.5A2 M3.5B2 3F0-06153-0 Compatible With Mercury/Mariner 2.5HP 3.3HP 3HP 823033
RQZQAS Type: Common ignition coil types include traditional single ignition coil, double ignition coil (i.e. double contact coil) and modern COP (Coil-on-Plug). || Improve ignition efficiency: The ignition coil can provide stable and high-energy electric spark to ensure the complete combustion of fuel mixture, thus improving the fuel efficiency of the engine. || Improve the engine: By generating high-voltage electric spark, the ignition coil helps the engine to keep stable operation under different working conditions, avoiding problems such as difficult starting and slow acceleration. || Ensure reliability: the normal operation of the ignition coil ensures that the ignition system of the engine can provide ignition signals stably, and avoids engine failure or shutdown caused by ignition problems. || Ignition timing control: Through the control of the ignition control module or the ignition system, the ignition coil can generate high voltage at an appropriate time and deliver it to the spark plug to ensure that the fuel mixture is ignited at the right time, thus promoting the engine operation."

Ignition Coil Compatible With Tohatsu M2.5A M2.5A2 M3.5A2 M3.5B M3.5B2 3F0-06153-0 Compatible With Mercury Mariner 2HP 2.5HP 3HP 3.3HP 823033
RQZQAS Composition: The ignition coil is usually composed of iron core, primary winding (low voltage winding) and secondary winding (high voltage winding). || Voltage boost: Low-voltage current generates a magnetic field through the primary winding, and then induces a high-voltage current in the secondary winding. || Trigger mode: The trigger of the ignition coil is usually provided by the ignition module or the ignition controller to control its working timing and frequency. || Working principle: The ignition coil works by electromagnetic induction. When the current passes through the primary winding, a magnetic field will be generated around the iron core, and then a high voltage will be induced in the secondary winding. || Basic function: The ignition coil converts the voltage of 12V provided by the battery into a high voltage of 20,000-40,000V to ignite the fuel mixture gas in the engine cylinder."

Information:

Problem 1.
Oil In Cooling SystemProbable Cause
Defect in core of oil cooler Install a new core in the oil cooler.
Defect in head gasket Install a new head gasket.
Water pump weep hole obstruction, coupled with defect in water pump oil seal Free water pump weep hole of obstruction and replace oil seal.Problem 2.
Engine Coolant Is Too HotProbable Cause
Restriction to air flow through radiator or restriction to flow of coolant through the radiator Remove all restrictions of flow.
Not enough coolant in system Add coolant to cooling system.
Pressure cap has a defect Check operations of pressure cap. Install a new pressure cap if necessary.
Combustion gases in coolant Find out where gases get into the cooling system. Make repairs as needed.
Water temperature regulators (thermostats) or temperature gauge has a defect Check water temperature regulators for correct operation. Check temperature gauge operation. Install new parts as necessary.
Water pump has a defect Install a new water pump.
Too much load on the system Make a reduction to the load.
Wrong fuel injection timing Adjust the timing.
Shunt line has a defect Make repairs as needed.
Drive belts loose Adjust drive belts.
Concentration of anti-freeze too high A 50-50 percent mix is acceptable for most applications. A 60-40 percent mix is advisable for Arctic application.Introduction
This engine has a pressure type cooling system. A pressure type cooling system has two advantages. The cooling system can be operated in a safe manner at a temperature higher than the normal boiling point (steam) of water. This type of system prevents cavitation in the water pump. Cavitation is the forming of low-pressure bubbles in liquids that are caused by mechanical forces. A pressure type cooling system helps to prevent pockets of air from forming.

Boiling point of water
Remember that temperature and pressure work together. When a diagnosis is made of a cooling system problem, temperature and pressure must be checked. Cooling system pressure will affect the cooling system temperature. For an example, refer to Illustration 1. The illustration shows the effect of pressure on the boiling point of water. The illustration also shows the effect of height above sea level. The coolant level must be to the correct level in order to check the coolant system. The engine must be cold and the engine must not be running.Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual , SEBU8671, "Cooling System Coolant Level - Check" to check the coolant level.Safety
Personal injury can result from hot coolant, steam and alkali. At operating temperature, engine coolant is hot and under pressure. The radiator and all lines to heaters or the engine contain hot coolant or steam. Any contact can cause severe burns.Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure only when engine is stopped and radiator cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.Cooling System Conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Making contact with a running engine can cause burns from hot parts and can cause injury from rotating parts. When working on an engine that is running, avoid contact with hot parts and rotating parts.
The connection of any electrical equipment and the disconnection of any electrical equipment may cause an explosion hazard which may result in injury or death. Do not connect any electrical equipment or disconnect any electrical equipment in an explosive atmosphere.
