54 kPa (8 psi) from the atmospheric pressure sensor.
101-13     Crankcase Air Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the crankcase air pressure sensor indicated a crankcase air pressure greater than +/-
1.5 kPa (0.2 psi).
274-13     Atmospheric Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the atmospheric pressure sensor indicated an atmospheric pressure other than
0 kPa (0 psi).
289-13     Fuel Pressure Sensor - Before Fuel Filter : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the unfiltered fuel pressure sensor (absolute) indicated an unfiltered fuel pressure greater than +/-
67 kPa (10 psi) from the fuel outlet pressure sensor (after secondary fuel filter).
460-13     Fuel Pressure Sensor - After Fuel Filter : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the fuel outlet pressure sensor (after secondary fuel filter) indicated a pressure other than
0 kPa (0 psi).
1785-13     Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the engine oil pressure sensor indicated an engine oil pressure greater than +/-
18 kPa (3 psi).
2458-13     DPF #1 Differential Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the diesel particulate filter #1 differential pressure sensor indicated a dpf differential pressure greater than +/-
2 kPa (0.3 psi).
3385-13     EGR Intake Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the EGR intake pressure sensor indicated an EGR intake pressure greater than +/-
18 kPa (3 psi) from the atmospheric pressure sensor.
3387-13     EGR Differential Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the EGR differential pressure sensor indicated a differential pressure greater than +/-
11 kPa (2 psi).
3464-13     DPF #1 Intake Pressure Sensor : Out of Calibration     During key on, the signal voltage from the diesel particulate filter #1 intake pressure sensor indicated a dpf intake pressure greater than +/-
6 kPa (1 psi).
3493-13     Aftertreatment #1 Secondary Air Pressure Sensor : Calibration Required     During key on, the signal voltage from the aftertreatment #1 secondary air pressure sensor indicated a secondary air pressure greater than +/-
12 kPa (2 psi).

Troubleshooting Test Steps     Values     Results
1. Check for Codes
Note: The engine coolant temperature must be greater than
0° C (32° F) before beginning this procedure.
A. Establish communication between Cat ® Electronic Technician (ET) and the ECM .
B. Download the "Warranty Report" from the engine ECM before performing any troubleshooting or clearing diagnostic trouble codes.
Wait at least 30 seconds in order for the diagnostic codes to become active.
C. Look for an active -13 code or for a logged -13 code.

Codes

Results: There is an active or there is a logged -13 code. - Proceed to Test Step 2.

2. Check for Debris
A. Turn the keyswitch to the OFF position.
B. Check the suspect sensor for debris.
C. If applicable, check the reference sensor for debris.
D. Check the sensor measurement port for blockage by debris.

Debris

Results: The sensor measurement port is blocked by debris.
Repair: Perform the following procedure:
1. Clear the debris from the measurement port and replace the suspect sensor.
2. Turn the keyswitch to the ON position.
3. Check for -13 codes. Wait at least 30 seconds in order for the diagnostic codes to become active.
a. If no -13 codes are present, return the unit to service.
b. If a -13 code is present, replace the suspect sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
Note: If only a 289-13 code is present, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
Note: If only a 460-13 code is present, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
c. If more than one -13 code is present and the codes have a reference sensor, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
STOP

3. Inspect the Suspect Sensor Connector
A. Turn the keyswitch to the OFF position.
B. Inspect the suspect sensor connector for moisture and/or corrosion.

Sensor Connector

Results: The suspect sensor connector has moisture and/or corrosion.
Repair: Perform the following procedure:
1. Disconnect the suspect sensor connector.
2. Remove any moisture and/or corrosion from the outside of the connector. Check for moisture and corrosion inside the connector. Verify that the seals for the wires are sealing correctly. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Electrical Connectors - Inspect", if necessary.
3. Reconnect the connector. Verify that the connection is secure.
4. Turn the keyswitch to the ON position.
5. Monitor the diagnostic codes on Cat ET. Check for -13 codes. Wait at least 30 seconds in order for the diagnostic codes to become active.
6. If no -13 codes are present, return the unit to service.
7. If a -13 code is present, replace the sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
Note: If only a 289-13 code is present, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
Note: If only a 460-13 code is present, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
8. If more than one -13 code is present and the codes have a reference sensor, replace the reference sensor. Verify that the problem is resolved.
