Information:

Table 1
Aftertreatment System Functional Test
FFFD(1) No Service Test Error No error in current bank.
0002 Active Diagnostic Present Resolve any active diagnostic codes. Refer to the appropriate troubleshooting procedure.
0006 Aborted By User The service test was canceled by the user.
0009 Service Test Aborted By ECM Check the service tool connection, do not abort the test before the test is complete. Repeat the test, if necessary.
10A7 Coolant Temperature Too Low Allow the engine to warmup.
1010 Engine Stopped (No Engine RPM) Start the engine.
1050 Test Timed Out Low temp Pop-up window not closed in time or the DCU is taking more time than normally required to power on/off. Refer to "DEF Control Module Power - test". Note: Low temp pop-up displays when the load is not high enough to raise the exhaust temperature.
1169 Engine Exhaust Back Pressure Too Low The SCR catalyst inlet pressure sensor may not be installed in the exhaust stream, or the exhaust piping is leaking, or is disconnected. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, SCR catalyst Inlet Pressure is Low
11A8 Aftertreatment SCR Catalyst Conversion Efficiency Too Low Refer to Troubleshooting, "NOx Conversion Is Low"
11A9 Aftertreatment Outlet NH3 Too High Ammonia slips happening - Could be because of poor DEF quality or engine running at high load conditions. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, NOx Conversion Is Low
11AA Aftertreatment SCR Catalyst Reagent Temperature Too Low The temperature of the DEF is too low. Operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Temperature is Low
11B5 Aftertreatment #1 NOx Level Sensors Not Ready "Aftertreatment System Functional Test" started before NOx sensors are ready, that is, too soon after the after treatment system is turned on.
11B9 Aftertreatment #1 SCR Catalyst Intake Gas Temperature Too Low The temperature of the exhaust system is not high enough to perform the test. Operate the engine to raise the exhaust temperatures. Restart the "Aftertreatment System Functional Test".
11BB Diesel Exhaust Fluid Level Too Low The DEF tank level is too low to perform the test successfully. Add DEF to the tank.
11BE Ambient Air Temp Too Low Ambient temp is below −45° C (−49° F) and the Dosing Control Units cannot operate in these low ambient conditions.
11C2 Aftertreatment SCR System in Warmup Mode The diesel exhaust fluid is not thawed. Operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Temperature is Low.
1126 Ground Speed Too High Make sure that the equipment is stationary with the parking brake engaged.
121A Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid Pump #2c Not Able to Prime The second pump in current bank is not in normal dosing mode after power cycle. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Pressure is Low.
121B Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid Pumps Not Able to Prime Both pumps in current bank are not in normal dosing mode after power cycle. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Pressure is Low.
1218 Aftertreatment NOx Conversion Efficiency Detected on Incorrect Bank Pump pressure lines between bank one and bank two are swapped or the NOx sensor wiring harness connectors are swapped for the outlet NOx sensors.
1219 Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid Pump #1c Not Able to Prime The first pump in current bank is not in normal dosing mode after power cycle. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Temperature is Low.
122A Aftertreatment NOx Sensor Installation Incorrect The inlet or outlet NOx sensors are installed in the incorrect Aftertreatment bank. Verify the installation location of the NOx sensors then perform the service test again.
Aftertreatment Dosing System Functional Test
FFFD(1) No Service Test Error No error in current bank.
0002 Active Diagnostic Present Resolve any active diagnostic codes. Refer to the appropriate troubleshooting procedure.
0006 Aborted By User The service test was canceled by the user.
0009 Service Test Aborted By ECM Check the service tool connection, do not abort the test before the test is complete. Repeat the test, if necessary.
105B Battery Voltage Too High Inspect the charging system to determine the cause of the high voltage. Refer to Electrical Power Supply - Test.
1050 Test Timed Out Low temp Pop-up window not closed in time or the DCU is taking more time than normally required to power on/off. Refer to "DEF Control Module Power - test". Note: Low temp pop-up displays when the load is not high enough to raise the exhaust temperature.
1011 Engine Running (Engine RPM Present) The test cannot run with the engine running, turn the engine OFF.
11AA Aftertreatment #1 SCR Catalyst Intake Gas Temperature Too Low The temperature of the DEF is too low. Operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Temperature is Low.
11BB Diesel Exhaust Fluid Level Too Low The DEF tank level is too low to perform the test successfully. Add DEF to the tank.
11C2 Aftertreatment SCR System in Warmup Mode The DEF is not thawed, operate the engine to raise the DEF Temperature. If the problem persists, Refer to Troubleshooting, DEF Temperature is Low.
