1. Remove the nut.
2. Clean the nut with a wire brush.
3. Before assembly, apply thread lock compound to the threads.
4. Tighten the nut to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
6 10 126-1756 Locking Bolt Refer to the following procedure when bolt is loosened for service:
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Clean the bolt with a wire brush.
3. Before assembly, apply thread lock compound to the threads.
4. Tighten the bolt to 30 7 N m (266 62 lb in).

Installation depth is 2.8 0.5 mm (0.11 0.02 inch).
13 1 249-3360 Camshaft Gear Extension of 103-0126 Dowel from rear face of the camshaft gear is 8.0 0.5 mm (0.31 0.02 inch).
14 5 2J-3118 Locking Bolt Tighten the bolt to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft) in a numerical sequence 1, 3, 4, 5, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1 as shown in the Illustration 4.
Refer to the following procedure when bolt is loosened for service:
1. Remove the bolt.
2. Clean the bolt with a wire brush.
3. Before assembly, apply thread lock compound to the threads.
4. Tighten the bolt to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
