Information:

Start By:a. remove hood assembly
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic circuits (boom, stick and bucket) before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system as follows: a. Fully retract the rod in the stick cylinder.b. Adjust the position of the bucket so it will be flat on the ground when the boom is lowered.c. Lower the boom until the bucket is flat on the ground.d. Shut off the engine, and put the hydraulic activation control lever in the "Lock" position.e. Move the control levers for the boom, bucket, stick and swing through their full travel strokes. This will relieve any pressure that may be present in the pilot system.f. Slowly loosen the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.g. Tighten the air breather cap on the hydraulic oil tank.h. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. Lines and components can now be removed.2. Drain the oil from the hydraulic oil tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 240 liters (63.3 U.S. gal).
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Check the coolant level only after the engine has been stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the fill cap slowly to relieve pressure. Cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
3. Release the pressure in the cooling system by slowly loosening the filler cap on the radiator. Drain the coolant from the radiator into a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is 73 liters (19.7 U.S. gal).

View From Under Radiator6. Loosen clamp (5), and disconnect lower hose (6) from the radiator. 7. Loosen clamp (8), and disconnect upper hose (7) from the radiator top tank.8. Loosen clamps (10), and disconnect tube assemblies (9) from each side of the aftercooler. 9. Loosen clamps (12). Remove inlet elbow (11). 10. Remove bolts (14), the washers and upper fan guards (13).
Do not damage the radiator core during removal or installation of the fan assembly.
11. Fasten a lifting strap and a hoist to fan assembly (15). Remove six bolts (16) that hold the fan assembly to the fan drive. Remove the fan assembly from the engine compartment. 12. Disconnect hose assembly (22).13. Loosen nuts (20), and remove governor control cable (18) from bracket (19).14. Loosen bolt (21), and remove pulley assembly (23) from the governor.15. Disconnect hose assembly (17) from the primary fuel filter base. 16. Put identification marks on three electrical connectors (30) for installation purposes. Disconnect three connectors (30).17. Remove wiring harness (28) from clip (29).18. Remove wire (26) from rubber clamp (27).19. Put identification marks on wires (25) as to their location on the starter solenoid. Disconnect the wires from starter solenoid (24). 20. Close the two heater valves. Disconnect hose assemblies (33) from the heater valves.21. Disconnect hose assembly (32) from the engine oil filter base.22. Disconnect tube assembly (31). 23. Remove bolts (34), the washers and plate assemblies (35). 24. Remove the bolts and washers that hold support (36) in position. Remove the support. 25. Put identification marks on hose assemblies (37) that are connect to the swing pump and pilot pump. Disconnect the hose assemblies from the pumps. Put plugs in the ends of the hose assemblies to keep dirt and debris out of the hydraulic system.26. Put identification marks on hose assemblies (38) that are connect to the implement and travel pumps. Disconnect the hose assemblies from the pumps. Put plugs in the ends of the hose assemblies to keep dirt and debris out of the hydraulic system. 27. Remove bolts (40) and the washers that hold plate assemblies (39) in position. Remove the plate assemblies. 28. Remove four bolts (41) and the washers that hold muffler and mounting bracket assembly (42) to the rear
