Effective July 1, 1992 regulations prohibit the venting of any refrigerant into the atmosphere. Refer to Caterpillar publications Service Manuals, SENR3334, SENR5664, and NEDG5065 for the proper procedure, the proper equipment, and the proper tools needed in order to reclaim refrigerant from any Caterpillar equipment.
Note: Reclaim the refrigerant before any lines are loosened or any bolts are loosened.
Reclaim the refrigerant in the air conditioning system.Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Refrigerant Recovery" for the correct procedure.

Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (4) from refrigerant condenser (1) .
Remove bolts (3) from the mounting bracket.

Position refrigerant condenser (1) and install bolts (5) and (3) .
Connect hose assemblies (4) and (2) to refrigerant condenser (1) .
