Problem
The existing 7C9344 Shroud may vibrate and crack on certain 3114 and 3116 Industrial and Generator Set Engines. If a crack occures, a new fiberglass reinforced 4P2661 Shroud, which is more resistant to cracking, can be installed.

Parts Needed
1 - 4P2661 Shroud
Action Required
Remove the radiator and fan guards to access the shroud. Replace the existing shroud with a new 4P2661 Shroud. Install the remainder of the parts that were removed. Some applications may require removal of the fan and fan drive bracket to remove the shroud.
